Small fixes and updates under the hood.

New in Discover: search for shows, not just artists and venues. Choose Shows, type an artist, then narrow it down by year, venue, city, country or tour. Type a year after the artist, like "Pearl Jam 1992", and tap "Shows from 1992". Recent show searches keep their filters.

Your Stats share poster now shows your concert life at a glance: shows attended, songs heard live, artists seen, your most-seen artist and your top venue, in type big enough to read in a feed.

Artist alerts are now only for shows near you: pick your city when you follow an artist, or anytime in Settings. Following a new artist no longer sends an alert about one of their old shows.

Artist alerts now reach you when a band you follow posts a new setlist. Rail is more dependable when something goes wrong: a failed save now undoes cleanly, one damaged show can no longer empty your list or widget, and My Shows refreshes when you change something on another device.

Hide a night from your memories Not every show is one you want resurfacing. You can now hide any night from Memories: it stays in your history and your stats, but it won't come back in anniversaries, the On This Day card, or your widget. Change your mind and you can unhide it just as easily. My Shows keeps up Import shows from setlist.fm, or change something from Settings, and your list updates right away instead of waiting for you to switch tabs and come back. You'll know when something goes wrong When Rail can't reach setlist.fm, it now says so, instead of quietly showing you nothing and letting you assume there was nothing to show. A better-looking share Stats posters you share now carry our Instagram handle, @railconcertapp.

Fixes for the Apple Music export, and better contrast throughout. • Exporting a setlist to Apple Music no longer creates a second playlist when you export the same show again — it updates the one you already have. • The Add to Apple Music button and the encore markers in a setlist are easier to read, including at the smallest text sizes.

ON THIS DAY Rail now resurfaces the anniversaries of shows you've been to — the night, the venue, and the setlist you actually heard. • A memory card at the top of My Shows on anniversary days • A home-screen widget, small and medium • A shareable image with the real setlist from that night • Optional daily reminders, off by default and free for everyone On days without an anniversary, the widget counts down to the next one. FIXES • Fixed a bug that could stop Rail opening your library when no iCloud account was signed in. Your shows are stored on your device; iCloud sync is a bonus on top, and losing it no longer blocks the app. • The widget now works out the right memory on the day you look at it, so it stays correct without opening the app. • Better VoiceOver support throughout, and body text now scales with Dynamic Type.

Apple Music playlists — tap any setlist and Rail builds it for you, finding the songs automatically. App icons — pick from 24 designs in Settings. Seasonal and holiday icons appear through the year, and Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum unlock as you log more shows.
