Disk Cleaner Inst finds what is filling up your Mac and shows it to you before anything is deleted.
SCAN FIRST, ALWAYS
Scanning is free and needs no subscription. You see every category, how much space it holds, and how many items are in it. Then you open any one of them and get the real list: each folder, its size, a tick box, and a button to reveal it in Finder. Untick anything you want to keep and the total updates as you go. Nothing is removed until you confirm.

Each one says in plain words what it is, and the risky ones say what you lose if you remove them.
LARGE FILES
Pick a folder and find everything above a size you choose. Review the list, reveal anything in Finder, and move what you pick to the Trash — where you can still get it back.
DEVICES
Simulators, unused iOS runtimes, Android emulators and installed IDE versions, with their real sizes. Simulators are removed with Apple's own simctl, not by deleting folders behind its back.
SAFE BY DESIGN
Photos, Mail, Messages, iCloud Drive, Keychains, SSH keys and .git folders are refused by every scan, and no setting overrides that. Caches are deleted outright, because moving them to the Trash on the same disk would free no space at all — anything riskier goes to the Trash instead, so you can restore it. Everything runs on your Mac: no account, no network requests, no data collected.

Disk Cleaner Pro unlocks deletion, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Monthly and yearly plans are available; the price for your country is shown in the app before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends, and can be cancelled any time in System Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
If you bought Disk Cleaner Inst when it was a paid app, you keep full use of it — including deletion — at no further cost and with no subscription.

REVIEW BEFORE YOU DELETE
Open any category and you get the real list: every folder, its size, and a tick box. Untick what you want to keep and the total updates as you go. Large folders expand one level, so you can keep one project and clean the rest.
A CLEARER LIST
Every category now says in plain words what it is and what you lose, instead of printing a path. Eleven fit on screen where six did before, and the reclaimable total and the Clean Up button stay in place instead of scrolling away.
AN IMPORTANT FIX
Earlier versions could report nothing to clean when there was plenty to find. Scans now look in the right place. On the machine this was found on, that was the difference between nothing and 27 GB.
MORE TO FIND
Xcode DerivedData, archives and device symbols, simulator runtimes, Gradle, npm, CocoaPods, Kotlin/Native, Android SDK, app containers, and build folders inside your projects.
SAFE MODE, EXPLAINED
The badge in the corner now opens and tells you what is never touched: Photos, Mail, Messages, iCloud Drive, Keychains, SSH keys and .git folders are refused by every scan.
