The original control software was never updated for Apple Silicon, leaving these legendary synths stranded on aging hardware. Aleph Virux rebuilds the entire stack from the ground up in userspace — no kernel extension, no legacy driver — so your Virus runs natively and reliably on today's Macs.

Connect your Virus over USB and Aleph Virux talks to it directly: streaming multi-channel audio in, MIDI notes and controllers out, and full read/write access to the synth's parameters and patches.

Aleph Virux runs as an Audio Unit (AUv3) plugin, dropping the full Virus control surface right into Logic Pro, GarageBand, and any AUv3-compatible host. Tweak oscillators, filters, envelopes, and effects with the familiar layout — every knob mapped to the hardware in real time.
