What's New Big release with a bunch of long-requested features and polish: New - Animate any picture. Turn any book page or character portrait into a short 5-second animation. Tap the new "Animate Image" button on your book pages or on any character in Pro Studio, describe the motion, and watch your illustration come alive. New - Write your family book from scratch Prefer to write it yourself? On the Family Book screen, tap "Or write your own from scratch" to skip the story templates and open a blank editor - every page image will still automatically look like your child. New - Multi-character book covers Add supporting characters to your cover. Your main character stays front and centre, and you can now pick one, two, or more Pro Studio characters to appear alongside them. Fantasy art, reimagined Fantasy books now render in an epic painterly oil-painting style - inspired by Magic: The Gathering card art and classic Tolkien illustrations. Warm dramatic light, richly-detailed costumes, jewel-tone palette. Family Books - bigger, sharper characters Family book pages now bring your child much closer to the camera, with a warm head-and-shoulders framing so their face and expressions read clearly on every page. Better character consistency Character profile pictures now match your Style Library - same engine, same aesthetic on every image. Cover - inside-page skin tone, hair colour and eye colour now stay perfectly consistent across your whole book. Pixar-style scenes actually look Pixar (no more photoreal drift). Cleaner Book Editor Tap the picture placeholder on your cover to open the Describe modal directly. New "Create a Character" button inside the editor takes you straight into the describe-cover flow when you're done. "Describe your front cover" replaces the older technical labels. Modals now scroll properly on smaller phones - the Create button is always reachable. Improved onboarding tour The new-user walkthrough now points to the right buttons across every screen. Existing users can still explore the app without stale tour steps popping up. This update improves image generation quality for our Family Books feature — personalised books using photos of the user's child. Covers now show the child's face clearly rather than wide landscape shots. We've also fixed a scroll conflict in landscape orientation where scrolling text would accidentally turn the page. Family Books requires photo upload and LoRA training before generation. To test: use the Family Books tab, upload 10+ photos, wait for training to complete (~15 mins), then generate a book.
