New App Store screenshots, taken from the app itself: a finished offline translation, the full-screen view you hold up to the other person, the two-way Talk screen, your saved phrases, recent translations, and the offline language manager. The app itself is unchanged in this update.

Fixed: downloading a language pack from the Languages screen now updates the translation you were waiting on, instead of leaving "Download needed" on screen. Downloads are also queued one at a time, so starting several no longer leaves some spinning or marks one ready before it is.

Fixed: conversation mode could get stuck on "Listening" and never move on. The recogniser can end a session in several ways that carry no final result — a few seconds of silence, a timeout, an interruption from another app. None of them were being noticed, so the screen waited forever. It now follows the recogniser's own signal, and a session that ends with words already heard keeps them instead of discarding them. If listening cannot start at all, the app now says so rather than sitting there.

Your recent translations, on the translate screen. • The last few things you looked up now sit under the input box. Tap one and it goes straight back in — because the commonest thing anyone does with a translator is look up something they already looked up. • They disappear the moment you start typing, so they never compete with the answer you're waiting for. The full list is still in Saved, and none of it has ever left your phone.

Swap now works on your result: tap it and the finished translation becomes the new input, translated back the other way — no retyping. Also fixed: the save star fills in the moment you save a phrase. If anything looks wrong, tell us from the "Built with you" card and we read every message.

Faster start — dozens of checks that used to run before the first screen appeared are gone.
