Looks very promising by why are guitar photos constrained to a square framing? Can’t fit entire guitar into photo.

Thank you so much for this feedback — you identified a real limitation, and it directly inspired a change we just shipped!In the latest update, photos taken with the camera are no longer force-cropped to a square — the full image is preserved exactly as you captured it.We also added a thumbnail crop tool so you have full control over how your photo appears in the instrument and gear lists. To use it, just tap any photo in the gallery, then swipe left or right to select the image you want. From there, you'll find zoom and crop controls to frame your thumbnail exactly how you'd like it.Thanks again for taking the time to write this — feedback like yours genuinely makes String Ledger better. Clean app, does what it promises. I track all my guitars, log string changes and get reminded when something needs attention. The collection inventory alone is worth five stars. If you own more than two guitars, gear or other stringed instrument you need this.
