• Two buttons at the top of Home: the note button posts a note to your TV, and the cart button adds to the shopping list. • Settings › Sync Automatically now shows when the background sync shortcut last ran, so you can see it's working. • When two of the shortcut's automations run at once, or DayBoard is already syncing, the shortcut waits for that sync instead of reporting "could not sync right now".

A new look, and DayBoard Companion now runs on iPad. • A fresh home screen: your TV as a big card with its own wallpaper and this week's numbers, a This Week view, and a floating bar for Home, TVs, Calendars and Settings. • On iPad, your TVs and setup sit on the left and the TV you pick opens on the right. • Your iPhone and iPad work together: devices signed into the same Apple Account show on the TV as one person, without doubled events, and TVs you pair on one appear on the other. • Your calendar choices, subscribed calendars and imported work events follow you to your other devices through iCloud. • Saving TV settings now shows when it's saving, when it's waiting for the TV, and when the TV has it. • Nearby This Week shows how far each event is from your place.

Turn On TV Automatically is simpler: add one shortcut and it wakes your Apple TV and opens DayBoard every morning at the time you pick. Change the time or the days in the Shortcuts app. If you added the shortcut from DayBoard 1.9.4, delete it and add it again. Nearby This Week (DayBoard Host): each event shows how far it is from your place. When you search around your own address, DayBoard names your address, and it says when the TV will look again.

A big update for DayBoard Companion. • Turn On TV Automatically: one shortcut wakes your Apple TV and opens DayBoard on the days you choose. • Photos from iPhone: choose up to 50 photos for any paired Apple TV in its TV Settings. They're resized for the TV, stripped of location data and encrypted before upload. • Automatic sync now waits 30 seconds after you open the app, so it's ready to use straight away. • Importing a calendar screenshot works even while a sync is running.

Match My Wall: photograph the wall behind an Apple TV and DayBoard measures its paint colour and surface texture, divides out your room's lighting, and finds any repeating wallpaper pattern — then rebuilds it on the TV so the picture frame looks like it is hanging on your wall. Set a schedule for each TV: the days and hours its dashboard should be up. Find the Apple TVs on your network to confirm which dashboard is which, and adjust the Liquid Glass opacity and typeface from your phone.

Removed the Google Calendar connection. The work calendar screenshot import is more reliable: every meeting block is found and timed from the calendar itself, names the first pass cannot read are re-read at higher magnification, and the date comes from the day view header so meetings land on the day in the screenshot.

Improves multi-TV synchronization and delivery status, expands sync health and calendar controls, and enhances work-calendar screenshot review. The direct Google Calendar connection has been removed for now while private iCloud, subscribed calendar, and screenshot-import options remain available.

Importing a work calendar from a screenshot is far more reliable. Every meeting block on the day is now found and timed from the calendar itself, and any meeting name the first pass cannot read is re-read at higher magnification. The date is taken from the day view header, so imported meetings land on the day shown in the screenshot rather than today. A Copy Diagnostics button reports exactly what was read if a result still looks wrong.

Each calendar now publishes in its own color, so every calendar you turn on stays distinguishable on the dashboard. A shared calendar synced from two phones no longer appears twice. Faster syncing when several Apple TVs are paired, and reminder lists remain individually selectable.

Reminder lists are now selectable, just like calendars — choose exactly which lists appear on your dashboard.
