Hands in the flour? Pesto reads on. Pesto is a voice cooking assistant: it reads every step aloud, starts your timers and answers your questions, so you never touch your phone with messy hands. Please note: Pesto is currently available in French only (app, recipes and voice). HANDS-FREE COOKING • Pesto reads each step out loud. Say « suivante », « précédente » or « répète » to move through the recipe at your own pace. • Ask for a timer by voice and Pesto lets you know when it's done. • Out of butter? Ask what to use instead. Step unclear? Ask Pesto to explain it. • No wake word needed: Pesto listens while you cook and your phone stays on the worktop. YOUR ALLERGIES AND TASTES • Set your allergens: peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, soya, sesame, shellfish, celery, sulphites. • Add the foods you'd rather avoid, and whether you eat gluten-free or dairy-free. • Recipes that don't suit you are hidden in Discover. Switch the filter off in one tap when cooking for someone else. SEASONAL RECIPES • The seasonal section follows the calendar and the holidays. • Search by recipe, ingredient or craving. • Change the number of servings and every quantity updates. STEP BY STEP • Prep first: all the ingredients and an overview of the steps. • Then one step at a time, in large type, with tips. • Rate your dish at the end and keep a history of what you've cooked. PLAYLISTS AND COMMUNITY • Save recipes into your own playlists and like the ones you want to try. • Post your own recipes with photos, follow other cooks, comment and share. • Chat one-to-one or in groups: text, photos and voice messages. GOOD TO KNOW • The voice assistant needs microphone access and an internet connection. AI features are only switched on with your consent. • Sign in with Apple, Google or email. Delete your account at any time from Settings (« Paramètres »). Bon appétit!
