Bay 1.1.0 — What's New Reference checks got a major pass. Buyer and seller reviews are now split into their own tabs, the parties and vouchers are tappable, and a held review finally shows as held instead of claiming nobody reviewed you. Reviews also appear without needing to close and reopen the app. One composer bar now handles both comments and reviews, so the keyboard no longer covers what you're typing. Tapping someone inside a group opens a new member view first: their posts in that group, when they joined, and their role, with a button through to the full profile. Marketplace posts get the same treatment. Profiles now carry a Transaction Reputation card, and members nobody has rated no longer show a made-up 100%. Chat: double-tap a message to react, links are tappable, and image and avatar taps work properly. Search gained a Sort by section, a real Filter button, and the X now clears your text instead of closing search. Groups and the dashboard open to content instead of a blank screen or a spinner, with skeletons while loading and pull-to-refresh restored. Sign-in holds: your session survives a locked device and an app update instead of logging you out. Phone signup added the UK, Kuwait, Mexico, Australia and Vietnam. Error messages now show the server's actual reason rather than "API error 400".

Chat - Keyboard opening in a chat no longer flickers or leaves a white gap; photos load smoothly without resizing while scrolling. - More reliable photo sending — uploads happen in the background so you can keep chatting; messages no longer duplicate, disappear, flicker, or hide behind the keyboard. Long-press to react / see options. - Delivery ticks: clock while sending, check when sent, blue double-check once read. - Much more reliable in busy conversations — messages, reactions, and read receipts appear live on both sides, no refresh needed. - Opening chats is much faster even for long threads (scroll up to load older); sending is instant instead of pausing. - Opening a chat from a notification returns you to the messages list on back. Other - Notifications can be swiped away to delete. - Photos added to a post keep the order you picked, even if some upload slower. - Live auctions stay smooth during fast bidding — prices update instantly for everyone. - Bug fixes and improvements.

This update makes chat faster and smoother, sharpens images across the app, and fixes a number of rough edges reported since 1.0.8. NEW - Send photos in chat instantly — images appear right away, keep sending on a spotty connection, and retry automatically. - Take a photo or pick from your library right inside chat, your profile, and new posts, using your phone's native camera/library chooser. - React to chat messages with a tap, and long-press a message to Copy, Edit, or Delete — without the keyboard closing. - Undo accidental notification deletes: swipe to delete, then tap Undo within 5 seconds (with a countdown so you know how long you have). IMPROVEMENTS - Faster, cleaner images everywhere — feeds, listing carousels, and the full-screen viewer now show a quick preview that sharpens as the full image loads, so you never stare at a blank or black screen. - Featured posts now match the website, and Sold / Filled items are clearly stamped. - Profile photos are never blank — a silhouette shows while loading or if a photo can't load. - Comment authors now show their verified check and Admin badge. - Opening a chat is smooth — the keyboard and messages no longer flicker. - Your chat list stays current — new messages show up without a manual refresh, even after you've deleted a conversation. - The empty "No chats yet" screen now looks right on every device. FIXED - Fixed feed and listing images that sometimes failed to load. - Fixed the reaction menu covering the Like button on iOS. - Fixed a listing's description overlapping its location on some Android phones. - Fixed photo order not being kept when selecting multiple images. - Fixed sign-out so it fully logs you out, and removed an extra iOS sign-in popup. - Fixed being unable to edit or delete a comment immediately after posting it. - Made the delete (X) on new-post image thumbnails visible in dark mode. - Reference checks can now only be edited by admins.

Sign-in & accounts - Fixed Facebook login (it could get stuck after 2FA and cancel) - Signing out now fully signs you out — so you can switch accounts - Quieter logout — removed an extra iOS permission popup - More reliable sessions (no surprise logouts on flaky connections) - Reworked sign-up: BayID lookup screen, clearer Terms/SMS consent, fewer duplicate phone verifications, better error recovery - Pending-approval users can now browse listings and reach Notifications while they wait Chat - Copy a message; the edit box no longer hides behind the keyboard - Edits and deletes appear instantly - Attach photos straight from the camera Listings & feed - Featured row now matches the website (full, region-filtered set) - SOLD/FILLED badges + titles on featured tiles - Save/Unsave from the post menu - Smoother image picker (keeps order) and image viewer - Reference checks: confirm before creating, cleaner amount formatting Notifications - Swipe to dismiss notifications - Android notification badge clears when you open a chat

We've rebuilt the sign-up experience and fixed a number of issues: • Smoother sign-up. Start by choosing "I have a BayID" to find your existing account by email or phone, or sign up fresh — your name and photo are carried over for you, and your verified phone is locked in automatically. • Fixed sign-in for new members. Brand-new accounts using Google, Facebook, or Apple were getting bounced back to the sign-in screen instead of reaching setup — that now works. • Browse while you wait. If your account is awaiting approval, you can now browse listings instead of hitting a dead end. • Sign out everywhere. Signing out of the app now also ends your session on the website. • Fixed a launch crash some members were seeing. • Onboarding polish: resolved a blank account-lookup screen, an unresponsive Terms toggle, unclear error messages, and incorrect "code sent" wording.

• Fixed a crash that could occur on launch while loading the feed. • Fixed price display for listings that don't have a currency set. • Stability and performance improvements.

--- What's New in v1.0.4 Mentions, reimagined - Tag people anywhere — comments, replies, posts, and ref-check descriptions. - Mentions now show as a blue, bold name (no "@") with their #BayID, just like the web. - Tap a mention to jump straight to that person's profile. - Replying to someone now auto-tags them — a real, tappable mention that actually notifies them. Live updates (no more pull-to-refresh) - Chat messages and the chat list update in real time. - The notification badge now updates live on your phone the moment something happens. Comments & reactions - Reaction picker sits snug above the Like button and no longer jumps around. - In chat, the reaction picker keeps your keyboard open; pickers dismiss when you scroll. - Fixed comment typing on the post screen. Create & edit forms - The keyboard no longer covers what you're typing on any create or edit form. - Pull down from the top to close a create/edit form. - Swipe-to-dismiss is less twitchy. Polish & fixes - Snappier chat images, improved search, and a new group-photo cropper. - Added haptic feedback in more places. - Cleaner admin screens and a more reliable profile view when signed in. ---

What's New in 1.0.3 • Mentions: tag people anywhere — posts, listings, comments and reference checks. Mentions show in blue with the person's #BayID and tap straight through to their profile. • Reactions: the emoji picker now pops up right where you tap (on the Like button or the message) and the keyboard stays open while you react in chats and comments. Cleaner, squarer picker that always fits on screen. • Comments: the latest comment now stays visible above the keyboard when you start typing. • Create & edit: swipe down to close any create/edit form, fields stay above the keyboard, and closing returns you to where you were instead of the dashboard. Forms now slide down to dismiss. • Posts: tap anywhere beside the title or price to expand "…more"; the title opens the full post. "Sold"/"Filled" tags now lead the title with clearer colored image overlays. • App badge now counts unread chats plus new notifications, and shows correctly right after launch or sign-in. • Faster chat image loading, true image aspect ratios, and landscape support in the full-screen image viewer. • Search: cleaner result cards, plus various stability and polish fixes throughout.

--- What's New in 1.0.2 Groups - Groups can now have a dedicated icon (shown in the groups list), separate from the banner. Set it when creating or editing a group. - Pin your favourite groups, and pinned groups now sort to the top of the list. Reactions & comments - Tapping Like now removes your reaction instead of switching it to a thumbs-up. Long-press to pick a different one. - Comment reactions work just like posts now (tap to like, hold to choose). - The reaction picker opens right where you tap, adds a subtle vibration, and no longer scrolls the comments away. Dashboard & featured - Featured cards reliably show their title, price and country, with consistent sizing and edge-to-edge scrolling. - Cleaner dashboard cards, and posts now open instantly. Chats - Chat settings now have a back button and a properly aligned layout. - Leaving a group no longer shows an "Access Denied" screen. Plus a range of stability fixes and polish. ---
