Notifications! Put your phone down while a creature is being drawn: dobudex tells you the moment it's ready. You also hear when someone sends you a friend request or accepts yours, and when a new weekly challenge starts. You choose: switch each one on or off under Profile → Notifications. Your plan card now shows the renew date next to your monthly allowance, and scan-pack extras say they never expire.

Weekly challenges! Every Monday Fiona announces a new challenge: scan your way through three tiers for bonus XP. Track your progress on your Profile and on the Scanner, see the moment a catch counts on the reveal, and tap the Profile card to read the week's announcement again. Reporting a creature or its description now shows what you already flagged.

The Explorer screen now leads with the monthly price, so what you pay after any first-month offer is clear at a glance.

Your Dex tiles now show their artwork edge to edge, so a card reads at a glance instead of sitting inside a frame. Fiona has been redrawn onto her speech box everywhere she talks, from your first run to the paywall, so she looks and sounds the same on every screen. Fixed: leaving an animal's detail screen now takes you back where you came from.

A new App Store preview, so you can watch a scan turn into a card before you install. Inside the app, one small change: dobudex now notes whether an account started on iPhone or on Android, so we know where to put our effort next.

THE WAIT IS NOW PART OF THE HUNT • Biologist Fiona tells you what you caught while the scan is still running, so the name arrives seconds in rather than at the very end. • The animal's outline lights up on camera while the scan works. A NEW CONSOLE • The casing is moulded and lit from above, the screen sits in a recess, the buttons are properly convex, and the speaker grille is drilled rather than painted on. • A raccoon now handles the loading screens. YOUR DEX AND JOURNAL REMEMBER YOU • Come back from an animal and the grid is where you left it. • The Journal shows every scan you have ever made, not just the newest 100. REPORT WHAT THE AI GETS WRONG • Artwork, species text and mystery silhouettes can each be flagged in-app. Plus smaller fixes, including a paywall that no longer pitches Explorer to people who already have it.

LEVELLING UP • Reaching a new level is now a moment that waits for you, instead of a message you could scroll straight past. • Levels earned from your avatar photo no longer pass in silence. • Dismissing a level-up no longer restarts the scan behind it. GETTING AROUND • Scanner, Dex and Profile now share one fixed set of buttons, so every destination stays in the same place instead of moving with the screen you are on. • The button for the screen you are already on lights up gold, rather than looking broken. • Dex: FILTER moves to a strip above the grid that says what you are looking at, like "3 TIERS · HP ↑". • Profile: the upgrade and save-progress prompts are now cards with room to explain themselves. RARITY • The Very Rare tier is now called Epic. POLISH • The leaderboard's "you're ranked #N" teaser is a real control now, not something that only looked like one. • The share button says CARD, with a card to match, so the tap tells you what you get. • A scan that is still waiting on the server no longer shows a button you cannot press. • The readout no longer changes height as you move between screens.

FRIENDS • Your friends' catches now show the real creature in the activity feed. A species you haven't caught yourself stays a silhouette until you find your own. • Dex tiles carry a badge when a friend has caught that species, with a show/hide toggle in the filter sheet. SHARE • Share cards now show the scientific name on the plaque. • Fixed shares that could hang, trap you on the reveal, or reuse the previous card's image. ACCOUNT • Deleting a signed-in account now starts a 30-day grace period. Sign back in during that window and everything is still there. • Entered your birthday wrong? You can now correct it in place instead of being locked out. SCANNING • A single capture can no longer use two of your scan credits. POLISH • Text no longer clips at large accessibility text sizes. • The two look-alike welcome screens are now one.

Explorer now includes 100 scans every month. That's double the previous allowance, and it's already live if you're subscribed. Friends you've accepted can now recognise each other on the global leaderboard, even when you're both hidden from everyone else. Pending requests still reveal nothing, and blocking always wins. The upgrade screen now shows any free trial you're eligible for, with the full terms up front, so you always know what you'll pay and when. Plus smaller fixes to the Friends and Dex screens.

Meet other explorers. Add friends with an invite code to see their latest catches in a shared activity feed, and spot which friends have already found each species. The global leaderboard is back too: climb the ranks by species, rare finds, and scans, with private-by-default controls so you choose if and when to reveal your name. Scans now survive a dropped connection. Lose signal mid-scan and your capture waits safely in an outbox, then uploads itself once you are back online, so a find is never lost. Species cards now show a typical adult weight, and you can tap any scan photo to zoom in.

Level up your explorer. • XP AND LEVELS — every scan now earns XP, scaled by how rare your catch is. Watch the level bar fill on your profile, and enjoy the victory fanfare when you rank up. • LEGENDARY TIER — the rarest ~2% of animals now mint a legendary card in obsidian and gold. • NEVER LOSE THE SHOT — if you run out of scans mid-catch, we now take the photo anyway and hold it for you, so the animal doesn't have to wait. • TAP TO FOCUS — tap the viewfinder to focus and meter exactly where you want. • SAVE YOUR DEX VIEW — pin your favourite filter and sort as the default. • A CLEARER SCANNER — the capture button now says SCAN and carries a camera icon, the console frame no longer shifts as you navigate, and the camera stays put when you tilt your phone. • Fixed sharing the same card twice to WhatsApp.
