1. Development Background and Concept
This app was born from a common experience we’ve all had: “I want to quickly jot down the result of a calculation right next to the number as I type it into the calculator.” It eliminates the hassle of switching between standard note-taking and calculator apps, aiming to let you “complete both calculations and note-taking intuitively and seamlessly on a single screen.”
2. “Smart Integration” Between Calculator and Notes
It features two gestures that seamlessly send calculation results to the note canvas.
[Double-Tap (Simple Placement)]
Simply tap the calculation result twice, and the number will automatically be added to the note field.
[Long-Press (Placement with Equation)]
Long-press the result to place both the “equation” and the “calculation result” together. This is especially useful when reviewing your calculation process.
・Reliable “Rounding Alert”
When performing calculations with long decimal places, an alert automatically pops up. You can choose to “round and neatly arrange” the result or “arrange with the original precision.”
3. 3 Operation Modes
Use the segment buttons at the top of the canvas to switch between modes.
[Pen (Handwriting) Mode]
Use your finger or a stylus to freely draw shapes, arrows, and handwritten notes. You can switch the ink color between three options: “Black” (automatically inverts to white in Dark Mode), “Blue,” and “Red.”
[Eraser Mode]
Features “Vector” mode, which erases handwritten lines stroke by stroke, and “Pixel” mode, which erases only the area you touch. It also features a quick function that lets you delete placed text with a single tap.
【Select (Move/Resize)】
Drag placed text to arrange it wherever you like. When selected, you can “change the font size” or “delete” it. You can also circle hand-drawn lines to copy and paste or delete them.
4. Outstanding Safety and Sharing Capabilities
・Reliable Undo Support
Whether it’s hand-drawn lines, text placement, moving, resizing, or even after using “Clear All,” you can safely revert to the previous state at any time using the arrow buttons on the toolbar.
・Adding Text via Keyboard
In addition to calculator values, you can type supplementary text (including color selection) from the keyboard and place it on the canvas.
“Save Canvas Only”
Tapping the screenshot button saves only the “Memo Canvas area”—not the entire screen—precisely cropped to the pixel and saved to your Photos app. It’s perfect for sharing.
By stripping away all unnecessary features and focusing solely on the pleasure of “writing” and “calculating,” this digital memo calculator takes your productivity to the next level.
