Weather Snapshot helps you understand the weather at a glance, with one circle at the centre of the experience.
Tap or swipe through current conditions, temperature forecasts, rain, wind and official weather alerts. A focused interface keeps the information easy to find on iPhone and iPad.
• Current conditions: temperature, feels-like temperature and weather conditions, with a wind-direction indicator and a short outlook for upcoming changes.
• Hourly and daily forecasts: switch between the next 12 hours and up to 10 days of temperature, rain and wind forecasts.
• Rain chances: see precipitation probabilities across your selected forecast period.
• Wind and gusts: check wind direction, sustained speed and forecast gusts in your preferred units.
• Official weather alerts: view warnings supplied through Apple WeatherKit and open their official details.
• Your favourite places: use your device location, search for a city or address, or choose a point on the map. Save places locally for quick access.
Choose system, light, dark or red appearance, and customise your weather units. The layout adapts to rotation, resizable iPad windows and larger text sizes.
On compatible devices, on-device Apple Intelligence can provide additional explanations of official weather alerts.
Weather Snapshot has no accounts, advertising or third-party analytics. Your saved places and preferences are stored on your device.
Weather data is supplied by Apple WeatherKit. Optional alert notifications are created from warnings fetched while the app is open.
