Each focus session earns a book for your shelf. Put the phone down and watch your library grow.
Your phone is built to keep you scrolling. ShelfCare is built to help you stop.
Start a focus session. Put the phone down. When the timer ends, you earn a book that lands on your virtual bookshelf.
That's the whole idea — and it works because the shelf is yours. Every book reflects exactly what you did: a tall spine for a long session, a thin one for a quick 15 minutes, each color tied to what you were working on. Over time, your shelf becomes a visual record of every hour you chose depth over distraction.
HOW IT WORKS
Set a focus duration — 15, 25, 45, or 60 minutes — and a category. Start the session. A preview of your book takes shape on screen as the timer counts down. When you finish, the book slides onto your shelf with a satisfying animation and haptic.
Put the phone down. Come back when it's done.
YOUR SHELF, YOUR HISTORY
Books aren't decoration — they carry meaning. Session duration shapes the spine size. Your category determines the color. Sessions with zero interruptions earn a gold edge. Over time, you'll recognize your own patterns in the shelf: the dense cluster of reading sessions on a good weekend, the thin work spines from a hectic week.
Tap any book to see its details — date, duration, category, and pause count.
STAY CONSISTENT
A daily streak tracks how many days in a row you've shown up. A heatmap shows your consistency over the past weeks. Aggregate stats tell you your total focus hours, average session length, and how your time breaks down across categories.
Daily reminders fire at a time you set — and a second reminder goes out in the evening if your streak is at risk.
