every strand has a story. log your wash days, keep your products on shelves, and see then and now photos of your hair worn the same way.
your hair journey is finally getting the journal it deserves.
roots is a hair journal built for women with textured hair: curls, coils, locs, and everything in between. instead of relying on memory, scattered camera roll photos, and influencer guesses, roots helps you see what's actually working for your hair.
what you can do in roots
· log your wash days with photos, products, and treatments
· look back on every wash day you've logged, by month, with the products you used
· note how your hair felt after a wash day, and check back a few days later
· see then and now: two length photos side by side, matched by how your hair was worn so the comparison is fair
· build your shelf of products you're using, have tried, and want to try
· rate your products and keep notes on what works for you
why roots is different
most hair apps weren't built for textured hair. roots was. every screen and every question is designed with curly, coily, and protective-style routines in mind.
we don't sell your data. we don't share your photos. your hair journey is yours.
