"Skip this one" now tells you why. Before, most skip verdicts came down to "this food is highly processed" — true of almost everything in a packet, and no help standing in an aisle. Now the verdict names the thing you can act on: the sugar, the sweetener, the oil, the additive. A product also only gets a full "Skip" when there is a specific reason behind it. A pile of small concerns now reads as "Worth checking" instead. And when the database only has nutrition numbers and nothing else about a food, CleanLabel says so rather than passing judgement on it. Lookups are steadier when the product database is busy.

Allergen matching is far more accurate. Ingredients written in French, German, Italian and Portuguese are now understood, and "may contain" statements are treated as trace warnings rather than declared ingredients. Results no longer count against a product simply because the public database is missing information about it. Products we know too little about now say "Not enough info" instead of implying a concern. Personal alerts start switched off. CleanLabel no longer assumes which ingredients matter to you.
