One PIN for the whole family. Set or change the parent PIN on any device, including your child's own iPhone or iPad, and it updates everywhere. The Parent Zone now works on your child's device too. If you've shared a profile there, enter your PIN to manage shows and limits right on that device. Room to grow. For the kid who's outgrowing the kids' catalog, turn on the full catalog for their profile to search every podcast, not just kids' shows. It's off by default, shows marked explicit stay out, and you approve each one before they can listen. Browse still shows kids' podcasts only. About 130 more kids' shows in Browse. More reliable sharing: you can share a profile again after stopping, your child's device tells you when sharing has stopped, and shared profiles that were missing shows now repair themselves. Plus smaller fixes, including listening time that could count twice on a second device.

Great news if you've been stuck: PodFocus now runs on iOS 18 and up! Older iPads are the ones that usually end up in kids' hands, and we were shutting a lot of you out. Not anymore. If PodFocus wouldn't install on your child's iPad before, go ahead and try again - there's a good chance it's waiting for you now. A few more things we polished up for you: • Dark mode looks right again. The mini player at the bottom of the screen was hiding its own text. Oops! It's readable now, day or night. • Know another parent who'd love this? You can now send them PodFocus straight from Parent Zone → Help. • The Welcome screen finally shows our current app icon, so the app you open matches the one you installed. • Love PodFocus? You can leave us a rating from Parent Zone → Help. It genuinely helps other families find us. And everything you'd expect is still true: no ads, no in-app purchases, no comments, and nothing autoplaying that you didn't choose. Thank you for letting us be part of your family's listening. Happy playing!

Kids can now pick their own color. Beyond the preset palette, each child can dial in any shade they like and make their profile truly theirs — recent colors are saved so favorites are one tap away. We've also given the app icon a fresh look. Thanks for listening with us. Questions or ideas? hello@podfocus.app

Sharing to your kid's own device just got much easier! • NEW: Share by QR code - when sending a profile to a device with its own Apple ID (like a kid's iPad), just scan the code with the Camera app. No Messages, Mail, or AirDrop needed. • FIXED: "Share with Another Device" failed with an error for some families. Sharing now works reliably. • Previously deleted profiles no longer reappear on the profile picker. • Small navigation improvements during setup. Questions or a show you'd like added? Reach me from the About page in the Parent Zone - I read everything.
