Ordibehesht brings the Persian year to your iPhone with Persian and Gregorian dates, cultural celebrations, the exact moment of Saal Tahvil, lunar phases, and Home Screen widgets. Available in Persian and English.
Persian and Gregorian, side by side
See Persian dates with Gregorian dates alongside them. Move between day, month, and year views. Choose your first day of the week, weekend days, and whether Gregorian day numbers appear in the month view.
Home Screen widgets
Keep today’s Persian date on your Home Screen with small and medium widgets. Optionally show the Gregorian date too. Artwork changes with the months, seasons, and celebrations. Tap a widget to open Ordibehesht.
Cultural events and celebrations
Nowruz, Yalda Night, Tirgan, Mehregan, Chaharshanbe Suri, and more. Each event appears on the correct date with information about its background and cultural significance. Ordibehesht becomes a guide to the Persian year, not merely a grid of dates.
Saal Tahvil timing
The Persian new year begins at the exact astronomical moment of the spring equinox, not at midnight. See the precise moment in both Tehran time and your local time, for the current year and the years ahead.
Lunar phases
See the exact times of new moons and full moons, follow the current lunar cycle, and find out what comes next.
Persian and English
Every part of the app is available in both languages. Switch at any time and the layout, digits, and writing direction update automatically.
