THE DAY BOARD
Open the Today tab and see the day the way you already think about it: who is arriving, who is on the premises, who is departing. Check dogs in and out with a tap, stage pickups, watch the capacity gauge, and flip to a timeline view of the day's comings and goings. Print today's, this week's, or the month's schedule when someone wants paper.
BOOKINGS THAT MATCH REALITY
Real stays are messy: a week of boarding with a daycare-only last day, an overnight in the middle of a daycare run. Brindl prices each day of a stay on its own - daycare, overnight, or both - and locks the rates in at booking time, so changing your prices later never rewrites an old invoice. Capacity caps warn you before you overbook, and you can override them deliberately.
RECORDS A DAYCARE ACTUALLY NEEDS
Every dog carries vaccine expirations (rabies, DHPP, bordetella, leptospirosis, influenza, Lyme), checkup due dates, feeding instructions, medications, behavior notes, and a friends-and-avoid list you can see as pack bubbles. Expiring vaccines badge the Dogs tab and can remind you with a notification. Owners carry a second contact with its own group-text preference. Intake is a guided seven-step form you can hand to any staff member.
YOUR TEAM, ON THE SAME PAGE
Staff join with a private invite code and see the board, the dogs, and the owners - not the money. A shared team notes feed with @-mentions keeps the handoff notes out of your personal texts, and a new note pings everyone's phone even with the app closed. Group-text the day's owners through your own Messages app.
BILLING FOR HUMANS
Behind a PIN (and Face ID), Brindl tracks what every stay costs, what has been paid, credits and reimbursements owed, and how the month is going, including the daycare-versus-boarding revenue split and your collection rate. Export a books report as PDF or CSV for your accountant. Brindl records your money; it does not touch it - there is no payment processing to set up.
SAFE BY DESIGN
Everything syncs in real time between devices and roles. A daily automatic backup is saved on your device, exports are one tap, and restores ask before they touch anything. Deleting a record removes it everywhere, instantly.
Brindl is built by a small studio with one real daycare on it every day. If something is confusing or wrong, tell us - it gets fixed.

Backup, restore and data clean-ups now show a moving progress orb the whole time, so the app never looks frozen while it works.
