Reframing, sharpened. • Fixed social crops on rotated footage. Choosing a 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5 preset on a clip shot in another orientation used to ignore the vertical reframe entirely — your subject drifted out of the safe area and there was no way to pull it back. Every preset now lands where you place it, whatever the camera did. • Faster cold launch. Housekeeping that used to run during the first frame now waits until the Library is on screen, so the app opens straight into your scripts. • Lighter Home Screen widget. It reads one script instead of your whole library and refreshes on a schedule that respects your battery. • Steadier purchases. Cancelling on the paywall is treated as a cancellation instead of an error, and restoring on a new device is more reliable. • Credentials are now stored with the data-protection keychain, so they stay locked while your device is.

More ways to get the words out, and a lot more honesty about what runs where. ONE RECORDING, SEVERAL POSTS • Clip Finder listens to a long recording and picks out the moments that work on their own. Keep the ones you like and each becomes its own script and timeline — your original recording stays exactly as it is. NEW WRITING TOOLS • Hook ideas — get several opening lines for a script you have already started, then drop one straight in. • Batch concepts — turn one topic into a set of script ideas and keep the ones you like. • Social captions — a caption and hashtags written for the platform you are posting to, from the share sheet. YOUR PRIVACY SWITCH NOW HOLDS EVERYWHERE • "Keep AI on this device" now covers every AI feature, including the Auto-Edit note, which previously had its own path to the cloud. • Before anything is sent, Promptra tells you what would leave your device and asks first. • Every AI screen now names the engine that actually ran — Apple Intelligence, a model you downloaded, or your own cloud key — instead of claiming on-device when it wasn't. STOP MEANS STOP • Cancel an export mid-render. The half-written file is cleaned up instead of being left behind. • Cancel AI generation and the work really stops, including a paid request to your own cloud key. • When no AI engine is available, Promptra says why and what would fix it. FIXES • Lifetime purchasers now get every feature their purchase includes, and Settings no longer tells them they are billed monthly. • Pro features are gated consistently everywhere. • Edits that fail to save are recorded instead of disappearing silently. Thanks for creating with Promptra.

The biggest editor release yet. Promptra is now a proper multi-track editor. PICTURE-IN-PICTURE • Lay a second video over your footage. Drag it anywhere, resize it from the corner, round its edges, and give it its own volume — or leave it silent. • Insets that play at the same time stack onto their own rows, so what you see on the timeline is what gets rendered. EFFECTS THAT DO THE HEAVY LIFTING • Remove the background with no green screen. It finds the person, so it works on footage shot anywhere. • Steady a shaky take. Deliberate pans survive; the shake doesn't. • Eight trending looks — glitch, RGB split, VHS, zoom blur, motion blur, bloom, pixellate and kaleidoscope — each with a single dial. A TIMELINE WITH ROOM TO WORK • Lanes appear when you add something and vanish when you remove it, so a new project starts as one track and grows only as you need it. • Waveforms on every audio clip. Trim, split, fade and level them right on the timeline. • Clips snap to cuts, to the playhead and to each other, with a line showing exactly what they caught. • Pinch from ten minutes on screen down to a single frame. MORE WAYS TO BUILD A VIDEO • Photos become clips you can trim, grade and speed up. Freeze any frame. Add a Ken Burns move. • Speed ramps, reverse, and any speed from 0.1x to 10x. • Text templates and your own imported fonts, with entrance and exit animations. • Detach a clip's audio, drop in sound effects, or have your script read aloud. • Fit your video inside any aspect ratio, with a solid colour or a blurred copy of the shot behind it. BUILT FOR iPAD • The timeline runs the full width of the screen, with every clip tool on screen at once — no scrolling to find things. FIND YOUR WAY AROUND • Every screen now has its own tutorial with diagrams, one tap away on the ? button. Thanks for creating with Promptra.

A big reliability release, and the most polished Promptra yet. OFFLINE AI, PROPERLY DONE • Twelve open models to download — from a 750 MB writer that fits older iPhones to an 8 GB model that describes your footage shot by shot. • Choose one model for writing and a separate one for understanding video. They no longer overwrite each other. • Downloads are faster, resumable, and cancellable, and deleting a model actually reclaims the storage. A SHARPER EDITOR • Drag the playhead to scrub through your timeline, or tap the ruler to jump. • Smoother playback while scrubbing, and the AI edit notes are clean and readable. • Watch export progress from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. SPEAKING YOUR LANGUAGE • Promptra is now fully translated into German, Spanish, French, Japanese and Portuguese. MORE RELIABLE EVERYWHERE • iCloud sync now works properly, so your scripts follow you across devices. • Fixed a bug where a recording could be discarded after an interruption. • The audio meter now shows your live mic level while recording. • Siri Shortcuts now see the same scripts as the app. • Your AI API key is now stored in the iOS Keychain.
