QuietCast plays the music, audiobooks and podcasts on servers you own. Connect Navidrome, Audiobookshelf, or both, and listen to your own library in a player made to feel as good as the big streaming apps, with none of what comes with them. No accounts. No ads. No analytics. Nothing leaves your iPhone except requests to your own servers, and a purchase, which goes through the App Store.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account with us and no server of ours: QuietCast talks to your servers, and to the App Store only for a purchase.
• Passwords are kept in the iPhone's Keychain.
• Self-signed certificates are supported, pinned by fingerprint once you approve them.
• No third-party code of any kind.
WHAT YOU NEED
QuietCast is a player, not a library. It comes with no content and needs a server you run yourself: Navidrome for music, Audiobookshelf for audiobooks and podcasts. Both are free, open-source projects, and QuietCast is not affiliated with either.

In CarPlay, the cover of a downloaded book or album could turn gray after you resumed playback from the car, and stay that way for the rest of the drive. It now stays put.
We've also reorganized a lot of QuietCast behind the scenes to make future updates easier. Nothing should look or work any differently.
