Text translation
• Translate Chinese text and everyday phrases.
• Copy the result or listen to its pronunciation.
• Open a word-by-word analysis to understand the original.
Photo translation
• Photograph a menu, sign or page, or choose an image.
• Read the translation directly over the photo.
• Tap a phrase to explore its meaning in the dictionary.
Conversations and voice
• Speak a word or phrase instead of typing.
• Translate conversation turns and show the result to the person you are speaking with.
• See the original and its translation in the same view.
Document translation
• Choose PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and TXT files in the app.
• Switch between the original and translated PDF or Word document and zoom into pages.
• Share the translated file or save it to Files.
Supported formats: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX and TXT. An account is required to translate documents. File size and processing limits apply; the available allowance is shown before translation.
Dictionary and learning
• Search Chinese characters, pinyin and translations.
• Explore word cards with meanings, tone-marked pinyin, audio and examples.
• Browse vocabulary by HSK level.
• Save words to favorites and collections and practice them in short drills.
An interface in English, Russian and Simplified Chinese, with light and dark themes.
The dictionary and basic features are available without registration within free usage limits. Feature availability and translation allowances depend on your plan and remaining quota.
Subscriptions
ZHEGE Plus and ZHEGE Pro are auto-renewable subscriptions. Pricing, duration and trial availability are shown on the purchase screen. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings.
