more Your run is no longer lost.
• Recording survives the app being closed by the system: with Location set to “Always” it picks itself up, and if recording ever stops, your phone tells you out loud.
• Lost GPS in a tunnel or between buildings? The pedometer fills the gap instead of a straight line.
• An accidental pause in your pocket: the app notices you are still running and resumes by itself. Pause and Resume on the lock screen now work exactly like the in-app buttons.
• Distance is counted as accurately as Strava: GPS gaps count, rides don’t.
• Cells and photos load right when the app opens; the feed scrolls without stalls.
• Tap an @mention in a run description to open that runner’s profile.

This update is all about tracking accuracy:
• Elevation gain is now measured with the barometer — real climbs instead of a flat zero on hilly routes.
• More accurate distance and pace: your average pace now matches the per-kilometre splits, and the track no longer loses metres where GPS dropped — closer to your watch and Strava.
• The map opens centred on your location, with no blank screen on launch.
• Smoother, unbroken route line.
• Imported runs stay private.
• Lots of stability improvements and small fixes.
Have a great run!
2.8 Sep 27
We've seriously improved run tracking accuracy:
• Distance is now measured more precisely — on par with Strava.
• Your route no longer breaks into a dashed line or ends early: it stays continuous from start to finish.
• Cleaner, smoother track on the map.
• More reliable recording in the background, with the screen off, and in weak signal — city, forest, tall buildings.
• Photo stops and red lights no longer add phantom distance.
Plus smaller fixes and stability improvements. Have a great run!
2.7 Sep 25
• Mentions in run descriptions: tag a friend with @ and they get a notification.
• The Premium card now shows your next charge date and how long your subscription stays active — gifted months included.
• A heads-up when you accept a gifted subscription while you already have an active one, so you don't pay twice.
• Gifts from friends arrive reliably and show up in the Shop right away.
• Fixed how images look in News.
• Stability improvements and minor bug fixes.

Version 2.0 — a big one!
• Walking mode: prefer to walk? Now walking counts too — capture cells on the shared map and earn ENDO (walks earn half of a run). Your activity type is shown with a clear run/walk icon.

• News: official updates, new features and partner offers now arrive right in the app — in your notifications and the bell.
• Gifts: send a friend a subscription or ENDO. Delivery is now rock-solid.
• @mentions: tag a friend with @name in comments and they'll get a notification.
• Partners & promo codes: redeem your ENDO for real discounts from our partners.
• Refreshed onboarding and an expanded glossary, plus stability fixes.
Thanks for running (and walking) with us!

Gift a friend. Send a subscription (1 month, 3 months or 1 year) or a pack of ENDO to any friend — paid once, delivered right in the app.
Partners. Spend your ENDO on real promo codes from partner brands — right from the run screen.
Map fix. Activity maps now render correctly everywhere, including locations below sea level.
Plus performance improvements and bug fixes. Happy running!
1.6 Aug 30
• Polar. Connect Polar Flow and import your runs into RunOrJog — right from your profile.
• How imports count. Imported runs earn ENDO (with a subscription) and count toward your stats and records. Territory is captured only by a run imported within 10 minutes of finishing — older runs are counted without taking cells.
Gift RUN_OR_JOG to a friend!
You can now gift a subscription (1 month, 3 months or 1 year) or a pack of ENDO energy (150 or 300) to any friend. Pick a tier, choose who it's for, and they get it right in the app — subscriptions stack onto their current access, ENDO lands instantly.
Plus performance improvements and bug fixes. Happy running!
• More accurate pace & records. We now filter out GPS glitches and teleport spikes that used to create impossible splits and fake records.
• Small improvements and fixes.

What's New in 1.4
• Loop-closing hint. Right during your run you can see how much territory you're capturing, with a warning when your loop isn't closed yet — close the route to claim the whole area inside, not just the line.
• Delete a run. Forgot to turn on Protection, ran somewhere you shouldn't have, or attacked a friend by accident? You can now delete your own run within 10 minutes of finishing — the ENDO, captured cells, and records all roll back to how they were before it.
• Accurate records. Personal records are now always drawn from your runs: delete a run and your previous record comes back automatically.
• Voice assistant in your language. The support assistant now speaks your app language instead of your phone's.
• Stability. Removed corrupted tracks with impossible distances and "phantom" runs, where a notification arrived and cells updated but the run itself was missing.
1.4 Aug 20
• Meet Flash — voice support right inside the app. Open Profile → “Flash — Support” and just say what you need help with. Flash answers questions about the game and, when you’re signed in, can look up your own runs, cells, ENDO and subscription.
• Fixed: patrolling your own cells no longer wrongly unlocks the “capture N cells in one run” achievement.
• Minor improvements and stability.
1.2 Aug 14
• Fixed per-km splits: they no longer count paused/stopped time and now match your run's average pace.
• Post-run achievements: the unlock popup now shows the proper award artwork — the same as in the Hall of Fame and Progress (previously a plain icon).
• UI and stability improvements.
1.1 Aug 9
• Route privacy: every run now has a "Hide start & finish" toggle — it hides the first and last 200 m of the track on the map, so people can't see where you start and end. Your cells stay fully visible.
• Quick jump to a profile: tap the avatar or name in a notification (like, comment, reply, follow) to open that person's profile and follow them right away.
• Minor UI and stability improvements.
1.0.13 Aug 6
• Import runs from Apple Health and Garmin (.fit) files — pull workouts from your watch and other apps. Import within 10 minutes of finishing to have it count.
• Duplicate protection: the same run no longer counts twice.
• Comment replies: get notified when someone replies to your comment.
• Workout description — add a note to your run (up to 500 characters).
• Improved Strava compatibility.
• Faster cell loading on the map.
• Fixed ENDO calculation and translations.
