1. Tonight by the hour is new on the Sky tab: one line that tells the night, your best viewing window, and a graph to slide through hour by hour, by viewing score or by cloud cover. 2. Sky Sense is redesigned: what the radar sees where you are right now, the next hour of rain, and three plain checks for storm cells, hail and lightning, and echoes overhead. 3. Rain: the app says when rain is about to arrive where you are, with a new Rain nearby card. 4. Sky Moments are timed for your own sky: a meteor shower shows the hours it can be seen where you are, a full Moon peaks at moonrise, and the reminder for an event before dawn comes the evening before. 5. The Sky tab's lists rise as sheets you pull down to close. The tab follows the place you pick and asks again on its own when the forecast is slow to answer. 6. Larger text: warnings and safety pages, the cards on Today, the Sky tab, the tropical tracker and the Plus pages now grow with your text size setting. 7. Today and the day page say the same thing: one sentence for right now on both and an active alert. 8. General fixes

1. Radar: the forecast loop now reaches 84 hours ahead, the range picker says "84 hours", and Play runs the whole loop in about 30 seconds. Rain Chance, a new Plus layer, shows the share of forecasts with rain or snow for each hour out to 84 hours, and keeps the window you picked. A radar left open and paused keeps refreshing and keeps its storm cells and tornado markers. 2. Alerts: warnings are ordered the same way on every screen, with every warning above every watch. A cancelled or replaced alert is no longer shown as in effect. An advisory leads only its own watch. A tornado warning nearby leads even under a Tornado Watch, and the other alerts keep their rows. Alert rows on light colors, such as a Tornado Watch's yellow, now print in dark text you can read. 3. Alert notifications: tapping an alert opens that alert after the National Weather Service re-sends it, at the alert's place, and that place is not saved as yours. The app's own alert notification tells an alert once, not once per bulletin. 4. Widgets: the alert badge follows an alert's event and the place the widget shows, a pushed alert is no longer erased by a refresh, and the IN YOUR AREA zone pins belong to the place you are viewing. 5. Rain over you: a Lock Screen Live Activity while rain is overhead, kept current by the app and by our server. 6. Share Today's Mochi moment as a link with a note. 7. Also: clipped sentences are gone from forecast copy, an open detail follows the iPad window when it is resized, a Sky Moment reminder promises only the beats still ahead, and the tornado takeover's countdown shows when the storm is close.
