OurSpace has been rebuilt from the ground up as a true iPhone app. • Now on iPad, with two pages side by side: the list on one, the detail on the other. • Now on Apple Watch: today at a glance, and the grocery list and tasks to check off from your wrist. • Voice notes on the Notice Board. Record up to two minutes and your iPhone writes it out, so it can be read as well as heard. The writing-out happens on your iPhone. • Shop aisle by aisle: the grocery list learns the order you walk round your grocery store. • Cook mode: big, step-by-step instructions that keep the screen awake. • Faster everywhere, and your household still opens when you have no signal. • Now in Canadian French and Mexican Spanish as well as English, French and Spanish.

Meet the Household Handbook: Wi-Fi, door codes, appliance notes, emergency contacts, pets, kids and house rules, with expiring read-only guest links for sitters. Grocery search links now cover Walmart, Target, Kroger, Costco, Whole Foods, Safeway and Instacart, with your budget in US dollars. Also available in French and Spanish.

A big update since the last release, most of it in Finance, Calendar and notifications. NOTIFICATIONS Push notifications now work properly on iPhone and iPad. You choose what you hear about (tasks, calendar, shopping, meals, bins, birthdays and notice board posts) and turn each one on or off in Settings. Tapping a notification opens the thing it is about, rather than dropping you on the home screen. CALENDAR The Google Calendar connection has been rebuilt on a new connector, so connecting and disconnecting is far more reliable, and the old accounts that would not disconnect are gone. You can now create events in OurSpace itself. To be clear about what that does: the Google connection is read only, so events you create live in OurSpace and are visible to both of you there, but they are not written back into your Google calendar. FINANCE AND BUDGET Read a bank statement instead of typing it in. Open a PDF statement and OurSpace reads it on your device, removes names, sort codes, account numbers and card numbers before anything leaves, then uses AI to suggest your closing balance and the payments that look regular. The original PDF is never uploaded. Everything it finds is a suggestion you confirm, and a new step by step matching screen walks you through it. Bulk import has been rewritten. Excel templates now come formatted with dropdowns for the fields that have fixed options, CSV import has been added, and the mobile import buttons work as they should. The direct debit wizard is easier to work through, payments now save reliably first time, and lists refresh straight after you add something. Figures round to whole pounds, and a deficit is shown in brackets rather than with a minus sign. AROUND THE APP The home dashboard has been rebuilt with a cleaner layout, the headings have a new typeface, and the picture at the top changes daily. Navigation has been tidied up, cards line up as they should on smaller screens, and long file names no longer run off the edge. FIXES Statement analysis no longer fails on the PDF reader, there is a spinner while a statement is being read, and several small layout problems on phones have been sorted out.

AI MEAL PLANNER • Plan a week of dinners in seconds — OurSpace drafts suggestions around your tastes • Keep the days you like and regenerate the rest • Cooking instructions and suggested sides for every meal • Send the ingredients straight to your shopping list • Tonight's dinner shows on your Home screen NOTICE BOARD • Leave sticky notes, doodles and links for each other • Automatic link previews, and notes fade away after 24 hours BIN DAY REMINDERS • Tell OurSpace which bins your council collects and when — weekly or fortnightly rotations • A reminder for you both the day before and on the day, so the right bins go out PUSH NOTIFICATIONS • Get a nudge when your partner adds a task or shopping item, posts to the board, or plans dinner • Choose which notifications you want in Settings Plus a refreshed setup wizard, a feedback button in Settings, and polish throughout.

We have extended the period which the calendar sync function pulls down events for to 60 days from today in the future.
