New: ten ready-made Quick Launch looks. Tap one in Customize, Look to apply it instantly, with Undo. Save your own looks, share them, and switch looks by time of day. Drag files onto an app in Quick Launch to open them with it. Haptic feedback is optional. Launch Sets can run an Apple Shortcut before or after they open. New Sound widget: pick your output device and set the volume. Fixes a catalog error some people saw after updating.

New: the Now Playing widget. See the song playing in Apple Music or Spotify, with the player's icon, and use previous, play/pause, next, and a volume slider. It is opt-in, and macOS asks for permission once. Apple Music also shows the album cover. Customize is reorganized into Widgets, Look, and Window tabs, with each widget's options right under its checkbox. Pick a squircle shape for the Focus Timer. Today's Agenda now bullets each event. Suggest for this background now picks a third color for subheadings. Clearing clipboard history is now a button that stays put.

A Weather widget powered by Apple Weather carries a multi-city carousel and a five-day forecast on hover. Clipboard History and System Vitals round out the set, and an Apple-style wobble mode lets you drag widgets into any order. The clock learned some tricks of its own. Flip it between digital and a classic analog dial, and click the analog face to pop out a floating desk clock you can keep on screen. Quick Launch itself now runs windowed as well as full screen. Drag it, resize it, tile it, and it remembers its frame. Drop one app onto another to make a folder right in the grid, pin files, folders, and links alongside your apps, and type math into search to get an instant answer. Launch Sets open a whole workflow of apps in one click. The catalog keeps pace. Select many apps at once for bulk category moves, import your old Launchpad layout in one step, rename any app with your own display name, and find space hogs with the new size column. An Unused view surfaces apps you have not opened in months, and opt-in update tracking flags apps with newer versions available. Your curation can now follow you. Turn on iCloud sync and your categories, assignments, pins, and renames travel to your other Macs through your own iCloud account. It is off by default and your data never touches our servers, because AppMastery still has none. AppMastery is a sharper launcher this release. Summon a full-screen grid of every app with your hotkey, then start typing to filter. Arrow keys move the selection, Return opens, and clickable page arrows let you flip through without a mouse. The catalog now reads each app's real developer name straight from its code signature instead of guessing from the bundle id, so the Maker column finally says "Google LLC" rather than "Google". Search understands what an app is for, not just its name, and matches on maker, category, and subcategory. The grid keeps itself current, too. Install or remove an app and the catalog updates on its own. App descriptions are now yours to drive however you like. Pick the free on-device option, point AppMastery at any OpenAI-compatible service or a local model, or use your own Anthropic key. Every option is optional, and the app works fully without any of them. Backups now preserve your subcategories through every export and restore.
