Bug fixes

NEW • Live has its own tab. Swipe through short videos from across the country, like posts, and join the conversation in the comments. • Reply to comments. Replies appear under the original comment on both incidents and Live posts. • Weather advisories on the map. Warnings and advisories now appear on the map by province. Tap one to see the area it covers and open the full bulletin, or hide them with the new map button. • Live posts on the map. See where people are posting from and tap a marker to open the post. • SOS alerts from your Safety Network. If a contact triggers SOS while you're using the app, an alert appears on any screen. Tap "View on map" to see where they are. • Report from the map. The + button for reporting an incident is now on the Map too. • One Discover screen. Search and Explore are now together, and News has a full "See all" list. IMPROVED • New tab layout: Live, Map, SOS, Discover and You. Your incident feed and activity are under You, and Settings is behind the gear icon at the top. • Easier-to-read map. Pins are colored by incident type, crime has its own icon, and pins at the same spot no longer stack on top of each other. • If you report something that's already been reported, we add your confirmation to the existing incident and let you know. • If your exact location isn't available, the report screen tells you, and you can drag the pin to the right spot. • New reports and Live posts show up on the map and feed right away. • Clearer explanations when the app asks for camera, microphone and photo access. FIXED • "View on Map" on an incident now opens the map at that incident. • Flagging an incident (inaccurate, resolved, spam, etc.) now works on all incidents, including ones from news sources. • People search no longer goes blank while you type. • Removing a contact from your Safety Network now works. • The feed now loads when your location is turned off. • The alerts badge now counts only the last 24 hours, matching the feed.
