One plan: Tally Premium Everything Tally does is now in one plan, Tally Premium: unlimited clients and full history, GitHub and calendar, Apple Watch, CSV export, the Tally API, teams and invoices. It's $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, and the yearly plan starts with a free week for new subscribers. It renews automatically until you cancel in your App Store settings. If you already bought Pro, it stays yours. News, only if you want it Choose whether to get product news and offers by email or notification in Account > Notifications. Both are off unless you turn them on. Marked "via API" Sessions added through the Tally API now show a "via API" tag, like the website.

Pause one, start another Pause a client's timer, set it aside and start timing someone else. Your paused timers wait in a list, ready to pick up or save. Pauses are remembered When you pause and resume, Tally keeps when each pause happened, and the timer keeps its ticket even if the app restarts. Throw away a stopped session Stopped the timer by mistake? Discard it instead of saving.

Ready for iPhone Duo The welcome screens fit the front display, and the sidebar keeps its width when you unfold. Fixes On the note sheet, Done and Save now sit above the keyboard on smaller screens. Your title and note are kept when the screen changes size, whether you fold, unfold or use Split View. The Reports period buttons stay clear of the screen edges.

Saves work offline No signal when you stop the timer or log hours? Tally keeps the session on your device and sends it, ticket and all, as soon as you're back online. A slow connection no longer leaves Save spinning. One timer on every device Start the timer on the website and it's running on your iPhone and Mac, and the other way round. Pause, resume, switch client or stop on one, and the others follow. Tickets any time Add, change or remove the ticket while the timer runs, after you stop, or later in Edit Session, and the time is logged to it. Log Hours has a ticket picker too, and every open ticket is a tap away with "more" and search. Change the client mid-timer Tap the client name on a running timer to switch it, keeping the time so far. Split a session Turn one session into two, each with its own note and ticket. Proof of your hours This Year, Last Year and Whole Contract periods, plus an Hours Report PDF with totals, a week-by-week or month-by-month table and every session. Owners and admins can export the whole team's hours. Titles Give a session a short title ("Fix login bug") as well as a description. Tickets can show their title too ("SCRUM-9 · Fix login"). Todoist and Figma Your Todoist tasks and Figma files show next to your tickets when you start a timer. Connect Linear, Todoist and Figma right in Settings → Integrations. Clearer saves "Saved 25m · Acme", with the title and ticket, so you know exactly what was saved, and a note when a session has no ticket. Mac Exports ask where to save, the menu bar lists your clients and tickets again and says if a save didn't go through, and Return signs in. Fixes and polish - Larger text sizes and iPad: the timer ring, Reports, Activity and Team keep words whole and nothing gets cut off. - Reports lists sessions by the day you worked, and its period buttons wrap on iPad and Mac. - Start always shows the client it will time. - The export sheet no longer opens blank, and invoice PDFs from the Mac open properly. - Tap Today, This Week, Earnings or Streak on the Timer screen to see the details.

Team contracts Your team owner can set the hours each member owes on the team client. The Team screen shows everyone's progress this week, any makeup hours, and the team cap. Week by week Open a contract to see every week's required hours, time off, owed hours coming in, hours worked and what carried over. Team admins can fix time Owners and admins can add, change or delete a member's time on the team client, for example a meeting they forgot to log. It's always marked "Added by" them, and the member gets a notification. Linear Connect Linear on the website, then start timers on your Linear issues from iPhone, Mac or Apple Watch. When you save, the time is added to the issue as a comment. Notion Connect Notion on the website and choose which task databases belong to which client. Your open Notion tasks show up when you start a timer on iPhone, Mac or Apple Watch, and when you save, the time is added to the task as a comment (and to an hours column, if you picked one). Meetings you didn't time Connect your calendar on the website, and the Timer screen lists recent client meetings with no time logged. Look back two weeks, 30 or 60 days. Change the hours if a meeting ended early, then add it in one tap or dismiss it. Pro. Meeting notifications With your calendar connected, Tally can tell you when a client meeting starts: tap to start a timer for that client, with the meeting as the note. When a meeting ends with no time logged, tap the notification to add it, with the hours ready to adjust. Pro. Smart reminders Around 5pm on weekdays, and only when it helps: a nudge when meetings or commits have no time logged today, or a contract is falling behind. Tap to see what's untracked. Choose your notifications Turn smart reminders and meeting notifications on or off in Account > Notifications. Apple Watch complications Put Tally on your watch face: your running timer counts live with its client, and when no timer runs you see today's hours. Tap to open Tally. Focus can start your timer In a Focus's Tally filter, turn on "Start timer when this Focus turns on" and Tally starts the timer for that client as the Focus begins, even with the app closed. It never starts a second timer, and turning the Focus off leaves your timer running. Jira Start a timer on any of your Jira tickets from iPhone, Mac or Apple Watch. When you save, your hours post to the ticket as a worklog, with your note and type of work. Client report links Share a live, read-only page of your hours by day and ticket. Your client opens it in any browser without an account, and you can turn the link off at any time. Contracts and makeup hours Set required hours per week or month. Short weeks carry forward as makeup hours, and time off lowers the target instead of counting against you. Untracked work Connect GitHub on the website and Reports suggests sessions for commits you made with no timer running. One tap adds them. Type of work Tag sessions as build, research and prep, meeting, review or admin, and see your week by type in Reports. Teams Tap a member to see their hours and recent weeks, and set a weekly goal for each person. Invoices are here. Generate a PDF invoice directly from your tracked sessions, send it to your client, and collect payment through Stripe — all from the app. Mark invoices paid or unpaid and filter by status.
