Cafe Gear Log
Espresso machine care log
$2.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Forgot your last descale? Track each machine's descale, backflush & filter due dates, then export a clean PDF service history. No account, no subscription, fully offline.
Keep a complete maintenance history for your espresso machine, grinder, and water filter — fully offline, no account, no subscription. Cafe Gear Log keeps a real maintenance schedule for every piece of gear: it reminds you when each item is due for a descale, a backflush, or a parts change, and exports a clean PDF service history (your gear's service passport) whenever you need proof of care.
Built for cafe owners, baristas, espresso technicians, and serious home enthusiasts who want their gear to last — and to prove it has been looked after. No account to create, nothing behind a paywall — maintenance is the whole app, not a locked side feature.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Track espresso machines, grinders, water filters, and any custom gear (roasters, kettles, scales, pitchers).
• Log cleaning, backflushing, descaling, filter and burr changes, repairs, parts, and general service — with one-tap presets for the most common jobs.
• Set a next-due date and let the Today dashboard sort everything by what's most urgent.
• Get a local reminder on the morning a descale, backflush, or filter change is due.
• Attach photos to each machine, grinder, or filter — the first one appears on the PDF too.
• Glance at Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets to see what needs service next.
• Ask Siri to log a backflush, descale, or filter change hands-free.
• Record cost and who did the work, then see your total service spend per item.
EXPORT A PDF SERVICE HISTORY
• Generate a clean, dated PDF of an item's full service history.
• Hand it to a buyer, a technician, or your manager as proof of how the gear was maintained.
• Generated locally on your device — it's a record export, not an official certification.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account and no sign-up.
• No cloud sync — everything stays on your device.
• Reminders and photos stay on your device too — nothing is uploaded.
• No analytics SDK, no tracking, no ads.
• Pay once. No subscription, ever.
Cafe Gear Log is a focused, offline tool — not another brew logger. It tracks the maintenance your gear needs, not the shots you pull. Add a machine in seconds, log service in a tap, and always know what's due next.
