Rattlewise: Noise Finder

Find car rattles & vibration

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Find any rattle, then prove it's gone. Sweep a tone, see the buzz on a live spectrum, and get a before/after report — "peak −14 dB at 280 Hz." All on-device. Find the rattle. Fix it. Prove it's gone — all on your iPhone. Rattlewise turns your phone into a buzz & rattle source-finder for cars, EVs, vans, and homes. Sweep a tone to make the rattle resonate, watch it lock onto a live spectrum, then get a ranked "press here / tighten here" checklist — the step every other app skips. 100% on-device. No account. No cloud. ▸ FIND THE BUZZ Make the rattle reveal itself, then see it on a live graph. • Frequency sweep — play a tone that makes loose trim, panels, and clips resonate • Live FFT spectrum — the buzz shows up as a peak you can actually see • Peak lock — the app tracks the exact frequency, even for intermittent rattles • Accelerometer confirm — press your phone to a panel to feel which part is buzzing ▸ KNOW WHAT TO FIX The part rivals leave out: turning the graph into a plan. • Ranked likely culprits — plain English, with a confidence level for each • Guided checklist — press here, tighten here, add felt tape, reseat the clip • Honest by design — "likely culprits, ranked," never a fake guaranteed diagnosis • Re-measure prompts — check your work after every adjustment ▸ PROVE IT'S GONE The shareable proof no free tone generator can give you. • Before/after report — overlaid spectra with the quantified drop: "peak −14 dB at 280 Hz" • Share as PDF or image — settle it with a spouse, a forum, a mechanic, or a buyer • Vehicle & space log — every buzz you've found and proven fixed, per car, van, or room • Export PDF / CSV — keep your own maintenance record ▸ PRIVATE & OFFLINE Your microphone audio and motion data never leave your iPhone. No account, no sign-up, no backend, no tracking, no ads. Works fully offline. ▸ WHAT IT IS (AND ISN'T) Rattlewise is a stationary cabin/room rattle finder — use it parked, never while driving. It surfaces likely sources, ranked by confidence; it is not a lab instrument or a guaranteed diagnosis, and makes no safety or medical claims. ▸ PRICING FREE: • Live FFT spectrum + peak tracking • Guided tone & frequency sweep (the full resonance trick — never paywalled) • One live "find the buzz" session at a time • Diagnosis preview (top likely culprit) PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION Rattlewise Premium is available with the following subscription options: Premium Monthly: $4.99/month Premium Annual: $24.99/year (Save 58%) — includes 7-day free trial Premium unlocks unlimited saved hunts, the full ranked diagnosis with guided fix checklists, shareable before/after proof reports, multi-session history per vehicle/space, accelerometer structure-borne fusion, and PDF/CSV export.
