PageKeeper is a native Mac library for screenshots, images, PDFs, text, links, and notes. Keep useful material together, organize it your way, and return to it when you need it. FIND WHAT YOU REMEMBER Choose Find by Meaning and describe an idea in your own words. On supported Macs, on-device query expansion helps connect your search with vocabulary in your saved material. Results are ranked by relevance within your selected category. Switch to Keywords whenever you want to search for specific words. MAKE IMAGES EASIER TO FIND Enable Visual Understanding to add searchable descriptions of images and PDF pages. It can describe visible subjects, colors, layouts, and relationships that OCR alone may miss. Analyze existing items from the inspector. Generated descriptions stay separate from extracted text and your notes, and you can remove them anytime. REDISCOVER RELATED REFERENCES Open the inspector to see up to three related pages from your library. Click a suggestion to return to its original saved item. COMPARE YOUR SOURCES Select 2–6 pages to generate observations about similarities, differences, and open questions. Comparisons use source text and your notes, with matching quotations and links back to the saved items so you can check the interpretation. CAPTURE AND COLLECT • Capture a selected region of your screen. • Paste images and text from the clipboard. • Drag files into your library. • Add material through Share and Services. • Save your own text snippets and notes. ORGANIZE AND REUSE • Use categories, tags, favorites, and smart filters. • Search text extracted from images and PDFs. • Browse in list or grid view. • Copy saved content back to the clipboard. • Find indexed pages with Spotlight and use Shortcuts actions. • Export selected pages or your library as a portable backup. ON YOUR MAC Visual descriptions, query expansion, and comparisons are processed on-device. These AI features do not upload your library content or require a PageKeeper cloud account. Your original saved material is preserved. REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT LIMITS PageKeeper supports macOS 14 or later. Visual understanding, AI query expansion, and comparisons require macOS 27 and an available Apple Intelligence model; visual understanding also requires vision support. Availability varies by Mac, language, settings, and model readiness. Search shows fallback status when meaning features are unavailable. Visual analysis is optional and off by default. It supports images and unlocked PDFs up to 25 MB and examines the first three PDF pages. Comparisons use the first 1,400 characters of text and notes per item and require text-bearing material.
