- Start with large videos. The new Videos tab sorts your accessible clips by size, with duration, date and iCloud status. Play and scrub through a clip before moving it to Trash; playback stops when you leave or change items. - Try deleting one video free, whatever its size. It has a separate cumulative allowance. Trash shows your remaining photo and video allowance, explains over-limit selections and can select items within the remaining allowance. Estimated sizes do not use the photo capacity allowance. - Compare before choosing. View up to four photos together with shared zoom and pan. Smart Groups now explains keeper recommendations and labels uncertain matches as Possible Duplicates. Favorites, Live Photos and RAW are excluded from automatic deletion suggestions; you still make the final choice. - Review batches in Trash. See the selected count and approximate media size, undo the latest batch or remove items you want to keep. Confirmed deletions go to Photos' Recently Deleted. A recovery guide explains how to restore them; available storage updates are controlled by Photos. - Begin with a small goal. After onboarding, choose the latest 20 photos, suspected duplicates or one large video. You can also pick a month or review all photos without waiting for analysis to finish. - More reliable progress and previews. Improved edited-photo refreshes, image loading, month-by-month counts and batch undo. Limited Photos access preserves hidden selections and reviewed history for when access returns. Large groups and video discovery cover the full authorized library. - A deeper pink-purple look, clearer buttons and localized swipe stamps. Swipe and selection feedback is more consistent on iPhone, with fewer repeated animations when Reduce Motion is on. Settings is easier to reach on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

- New setting: Show the Whole Photo (Settings → Photo Display). The swipe card stops cropping the edges and follows each photo's own proportions instead, so landscape shots, squares and long screenshots show in full. Off by default — leave it off and the card looks exactly as it did.

- New home-screen widget: see at a glance how many photos are staged for deletion and how much space confirming would free — and tap to jump straight to Trash. Once you're all clear it shows your all-time freed total, and the medium size adds a 6-month chart. Two lock-screen styles (circular and rectangular) on iPhone and iPad. - Full VoiceOver support: the swipe deck, the Trash grid, and the monthly stats chart are all readable, with rotor actions to keep, delete, or view the full photo. - Purchases now always talk back: Restore Purchases confirms its outcome, Ask to Buy explains that approval is pending, and a failed purchase tells you why. - Fixes: an empty month no longer claims it's "all tidy"; review history moved to a sturdier database store with a safer upgrade migration; assorted stability fixes.

- New Siri Shortcut, Check Trash: ask how many photos are waiting and how much space deleting them would reclaim — without opening Flick. It returns the photo count as a value, so you can build it into Shortcuts automations, like a reminder once Trash reaches 50 photos. - New Shortcuts action, Clean Up a Month: give it a month and Flick opens straight into that month's swipe deck. Pair it with a date automation to sweep last month on a schedule. - Fixed: on the Smart Groups screen, tapping the small thumbnails at the bottom of a card opened the next group. Thumbnails now open their own card's group, the same as tapping the cover.

- New: clean up by month. Tap the progress capsule at the top of the swipe screen and pick a month to focus on. Every month shows its photo count, size, estimated savable space and a photo thumbnail — sortable by savable, by size or by time. Finish one month, pick the next. Big libraries finally have a place to start. - iCloud-only libraries get the month list too: sizes come straight from iCloud metadata, no downloads needed. Turn on iCloud loading and Flick can additionally detect Visually Similar and Possibly Blurry photos, making the savings estimate more complete. - Four new achievements: Ten-Thousand Legend, 10 GB Summit, Month Cleared and Half-Year Sweep — every month you finish counts. - Possibly Blurry is more careful about pre-selecting: only photos that are definitively blurry get pre-checked, borderline shots are left for you to judge. - The Similar Groups sensitivity you pick in Settings now sticks — auto-calibration no longer quietly overrides your choice. - Fixed: Siri Shortcuts now work while Flick is already open; Exact Duplicates on iCloud-only libraries no longer shrink after a momentary network hiccup. - Background analysis is more efficient: eliminated repeated metadata reads and repeated clustering during scans, so long scans use less battery.

- Flick's free plan changed: the 7-day trial is gone. Scanning, Smart Groups, previews and staging photos in the Trash are now free forever — and you can confirm deletion for up to 20 photos or 100 MB at no cost. Past that, one lifetime purchase unlocks unlimited cleanup across iPhone, iPad and Mac, with Family Sharing. Already own Flick Pro? Nothing changes for you. - No more guessing at the limit: the unlock screen spells out the full free allowance and exactly how much you have left. - Visually Similar groups now tune themselves. Flick was always designed to calibrate its similarity threshold against bursts from your own library, but a cache-lookup bug made that calibration silently fail every time. Fixed — the threshold now adapts to how you actually shoot, and Smart Groups shows a calibration badge once it lands. - Steadier analysis: fixed a rare timing issue where the library changing just as a scan wrapped up (common during iCloud sync) could scramble the progress display or start two overlapping scans. - Removed the "Only process photos downloaded to this device" switch in Settings — it never actually did anything. It'll be back when the real feature ships.
