RetroCam 1.2 is a big one. Montage — turn any set of photos into a cinematic video. Pick a theme: Super 8, VHS, Polaroid, Y2K Digicam for retro vibes, or Clean, Golden Hour, Travel, Party, Traditional for modern and event styles. Each theme has its own color grade, transitions, and atmospheric effects like light leaks, bokeh, confetti, and petal fall. Doodles — auto-placed illustrated overlays that read your photo and know where to land. Suns, hearts, corner frames, and more. Pro only. Double Exposure — blend two images together with SCREEN, LIGHTEN, OVERLAY, and SOFT LIGHT blend modes. Layer nature into a portrait, light into a skyline, anything into anything. Cut Out — remove yourself or any subject from the background and drop into a new scene. Fast, clean, no fuss. Art Spiral — turn your photo into a mesmerizing spiral of itself. One of those effects you just have to try. Drag to reorder — long press any photo in the montage strip to pick it up and reorder without lifting your finger. Bug fixes and performance improvements throughout.

What's New Text FX — Type a word and shoot your photo through the letterforms, or place text behind your subject using AI segmentation. Cutout Effects — Six subject-aware effects: Drop Shadow, Echo, Aura, Rim Light, God Rays, and Double Exposure fill. Applies to your subject in real time. Frame-in-Frame Toss — Drop a small framed print of your photo on top of the image. Drag, rotate, and resize it freely. Super-8 Motion Export — Convert any photo into a 15-second synthetic film clip with push zoom, gate weave, grain boil, and a sweeping light leak. Color Wash & Duotone — Tint your photo or map shadows and highlights to any color. Full color wheel included. Split filters are now free — All 8 Split-screen layouts unlocked for everyone. White and Black border frames also free. Bug fixes — Toss now correctly respects subject/background filter scope. Slice and filter changes update cutout effects live.
