Send a rec to any friend by link, even if they're not on Seen yet. Tick off episodes, get new-episode alerts, and bring your history from TV Time, Letterboxd or IMDb.
Seen is a TV and movie tracker where your recs come from friends, not an algorithm.
Keep track of what you're watching, tick off episodes as you go, and swap recommendations with the people whose taste you trust.
RECS FROM FRIENDS
- Send a friend a rec with a note. They can react and comment on it.
- Send a rec to anyone by link. If they're new to Seen, it's waiting when they join, and you become friends.
- Ask a friend for a rec when you don't know what to watch next.
- See what your friends are watching and rating.
TRACK YOUR SHOWS
- Tick off episodes, mark a whole season watched, or catch up in one go.
- Up next on your home screen, with one-tap check-off.
- Get a heads-up the morning after a new episode comes out.
- See what's coming up for every show you watch.
DECIDE TOGETHER
- Swipe through ideas from your recs and watchlist, on your own or with a friend, and see where you both said yes.
EPISODE COMMENTS
- Comment on and react to episodes. Comments stay hidden until you've ticked the episode, so no spoilers. Friends' comments come first.
YOUR PROFILE
- Your watchlist, ratings, diary and Top 5.
- Hours watched, top genres, and which friend's taste is closest to yours.
BRING YOUR HISTORY
- Import from TV Time (with a Liberator export), Letterboxd or IMDb.
ALSO
- Where to watch: see which streaming services have a title.
- See how many people on Seen have watched a movie, show or episode.
- Trailers, upcoming movies, and search that forgives typos.
- Hide any title from friends.
- Download a copy of your data at any time.
- No third-party analytics tools.

People always rely on IMDB for movie recs but it's very quickly and long become an absolute tirade of nothing but adverts and sponsored promotions. This is taking it back to what we all actually want, which is personal recommendations. I've been wanting something like this for quite a while so I'm glad that I found this app. It's great especially as you get more friends on here you start to get really really tailored recommendations that are really linked to what you're actually looking for. Couldn't recommend it enough especially if you're somebody that actually cares about good films and good TV that aren't just promoted from whoever can pay the most money - 5*s
Finally an app that makes watching TV more fun

I’ve been looking for an app like this for a long time. It’s awesome being able to see what my friends are watching, share recommendations, and keep track of all the movies and shows I’ve seen without jumping between different streaming apps.I’ve already found a bunch of great shows I probably never would’ve watched otherwise. The app is super easy to use, looks great, and makes finding something to watch so much easier. If you’re always asking friends for recommendations or forgetting what you wanted to watch, definitely give this app a try. It’s quickly become one of my favorite apps.
Useful and Easy to Navigate

My friends and I are always asking each other what we're watching. I'd end up with random lists in my Notes app. The app makes it easy to keep track of what I've watched, what's on my list, and what my friends are watching. When we get together, we can pull up SEEN instead of trying to remember who recommended what. I also like that it tells you where a show or movie is streaming.
Great tool

Enjoying the features, i often jump on Seen to check friends’ watchlists instead of scrolling through Netflix. A much better way of finding movies & shows I’m likely to enjoy - and a great way to connect with friends
