Merke helps you learn a language five words at a time — calm, focused, and built around how memory actually works. We're starting with German, and more languages are on the way.
No grammar drills. No endless menus. No account. Just open the app, flip a few cards, and let spaced repetition do the rest.
WHY MERKE
- Spaced repetition (SM-2) — the proven algorithm behind Anki. Hard words come back sooner, easy ones give you space.
- 5 minutes a day — a small daily goal you can actually keep. Choose 3, 5, or 10 words.
- Active recall — see the word, try to remember, then flip to check.
- Daily streaks — gentle motivation, never guilt.
- Your language — translations in Azerbaijani, Turkish, English, Russian, French, or Spanish. The app follows your phone's language.
- Frequency-ranked words — learn the words people actually use every day, not textbook fillers.
- Beautiful, calm design — a hand-drawn notebook aesthetic that's a pleasure to come back to.
- Private by design — everything stays on your device. No account, no tracking, no ads.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick the translation language you want.
2. Each day, flip 5–10 new word cards.
3. Mark each one "Got it", "Hard", or "Again".
4. Merke schedules every word for the perfect moment to review.
Start today. Five words. Five minutes. Watch your vocabulary grow.
