What's new in 1.4.0 • Bug: if your phone runs on a lunar, Buddhist or Japanese calendar, the daily reward, quests and weekly challenge could get stuck on one day for weeks. Fix: the game now counts days like a boring old Gregorian wall calendar, whatever your phone uses. • Bug: the "your coins are piling up" reminder promised about 50 coins even to an empty board that had earned exactly none. Fix: it only mentions coins that actually exist, and gives the real number. • Bug: patrons sometimes opened with their own name, as in "Vyn: …", right next to their own portrait. Fix: they've stopped introducing themselves to people already talking to them.

Merge Monsters now feels at home on iPad, with portrait and landscape layouts, a dedicated navigation rail, a dedicated merge board and roomier collection, league, quest and shop screens. What's new in 1.2.0 • Evolving a Beast to Nova or Mythic now shows off the Beast you actually made, instead of a sparkle and a round of polite applause. • If you only popped out for a few minutes, your Beasts' idle earnings sometimes vanished because the game forgot you'd left. It now notices. • An expedition coming home to a full board quietly sold the returning Beasts, Mythics included. It now waits and asks you to make room. • If a drag got interrupted, the next drag could move a completely different Beast. Beasts now stay where you put them. • Saying "Hi!" or "Thanks!" to a patron counted as haggling and could lower the offer. Manners are free again, and patrons now chat in your language. • Champion Clash fits on smaller iPhones, enemy portraits show the champion's own Beasts, and the whole battle screen, the Leagues and their lore are translated. • The League Conquered card now shows all five of your Beasts and names the right game. Saving it to Photos no longer closes the app. • Music turned itself back on every launch like it owned the place. Your sound and haptics settings now stick. • On iPhone SE, opening Contracts squashed the board. It floats politely on top now. • Changing the app language no longer throws you back to the board, and the Day Streak counts from 1 like a normal calendar. • Bigger tap targets, VoiceOver labels on the board, contracts and battles, and Reduce Motion is respected everywhere.

• Offline coins were taking “away” a little too literally. Your uncollected haul now survives closing and reopening the app. • Collecting or dismissing the haul stays saved too—no disappearing reward, no encore. • Purchased rewards are saved before confirmation, with protection against duplicate delivery.

• No shiny new features this time. This is a housekeeping release — brooms, screwdrivers, the works. • Everything under the hood got a once-over so future updates land smoothly. • If you notice absolutely nothing different, that's a ten out of ten from us.

Version 1.1.0 — the "your Beasts finally fight back" update. • NEW: Champion Clash. For ages we said "merge to build a team that works AND fights for you," then quietly shipped a team that only... worked. No longer. Max out a league, then challenge its rival champion: read their roster (two slots are face-down, because champions are sneaky), draft the right counter-elements, and tap your Beasts' Ultimates at the exact moment an enemy is exposed. First up: Marow the Tidelord, who has Opinions about you. • NEW: the Arena ladder. Every rematch is tougher than the last, so beating a champion is a real climb — not a button you mash for coins. (We did briefly build the infinite-coin version. Then we took the printer away. You're welcome, economy.) • NEW: brag cards. Beat a champion and share a slick "League Conquered" card so your friends can admire your tactical genius and grab the game. • FIXED: the big CLASH button used to look like it was sliding off the bottom of the screen, especially on iPad. We have bolted it to the floor. It is not going anywhere now. Thanks for playing Merge Bash. Beasts merged, champions clashed, bugs squashed.

We fixed three things that were quietly judging you: • The Mythic celebration overlay could be flung across the screen like a frisbee. It now stays put, shows up quicker, and leaves before it overstays its welcome. • The mythic-stones hint refused to take a hint. You can finally dismiss it. • Mythic owners were minting coins in their sleep at frankly suspicious rates. Offline income is rebalanced — still generous, no longer a money printer.

Bug-fix release. We owe a few apologies: • If you bought gems and the game pretended nothing happened (Ask to Buy, a flaky connection, the app quitting at the worst possible moment) — fixed. Purchases now arrive even when they turn up fashionably late, including ones stuck from before this update. • Your 8-hour offline haul no longer evaporates because you checked your texts before tapping Collect. It adds up now, like money should. • Contracts stop poaching your Mythics for Spark-contract pay. The smallest Beast that does the job is the one that goes. • Reserved Beasts are actually reserved — other contracts and the Daily Featured keep their hands off. • Daily quests, the featured order and the weekly challenge now roll over at midnight even if you never close the app. They used to stay 'Claimed' all day, which was technically accurate and entirely unhelpful. • The Daily Reward card pays exactly what it promises, instead of advertising one number and granting another. • Expedition parties come home to their own league's board instead of squatting on whichever board you happened to be looking at. • 'Maybe later' in the patron chat now means later — it no longer shreds the contract you just haggled up. • The Starter Pack restores properly on a new device: 'Owned' now comes with the actual goods.

What's new in 1.0.2 • Fixed a rare crash where the patron haggling chat could pick a "reply" with an array index that didn't exist — the maths worked 99.99999% of the time and then, very occasionally, on a particular launch, decided not to. Your beasts were never in danger; the app just panicked. It no longer does. • Same fix applied to the placeholder beast icons, which used the same too-clever shortcut.

We ran the numbers on the economy and didn't love the answers. So: • The coins your Beasts earn while you're away are FREE to collect now. We genuinely cannot defend the old version where we charged you gems to pick up your own money. It's gone. • Tap "Accept" on a contract to take it on the spot — no haggling required. The bargaining chat is still there for people who enjoy arguing with cartoon champions. • Leagues are a real goal again: they cost a bit more to unlock, the freebie rewards are a touch leaner, and owning a giant pile of leagues no longer quietly prints money. • The more renown you earn, the more the big-name patrons demand the hard, high-tier Beasts. Fame, it turns out, is high-maintenance. Merge on.
