PartPerfect — practice your part to perfection, now on Mac.
PartPerfect is built for singers who learn their music from learning tracks — the kind used by chorus, choir, and barbershop groups. Import your own tracks, practice with them, record yourself singing along, and review your performance with pitch analysis to see exactly how accurately you sang.
Your library, your tracks
Import learning tracks in MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, AIFF, or CAF, plus PDF sheet music. Organise everything into folders, search across your whole collection, and keep your sheet music a tap away while you practice.
Isolate your part
Many learning tracks place your voice part on one channel and the other parts on the other. PartPerfect's balance slider lets you favour the left or right channel — slide one way to drill your own part, slide the other to sing along with the rest. A snap-to-centre detent makes finding a normal stereo blend easy.
Practice tools that actually help
Slow playback to 0.75x or 0.5x without changing the pitch, so you can learn fast passages at a comfortable pace. Crop the waveform down to a tricky section and loop it until it's second nature. See the current note displayed in real time as the track plays.
Record and review
Record yourself singing against the learning track using your device microphone. On playback, both your recording and the track line up automatically, with latency compensated for you. Slow it down to hear the detail.
Check your pitch
Analyse your recording against the reference vocal. Your waveform is colour-coded — green for on pitch, red for off, grey for silence — with real-time deviation in cents and an overall accuracy score as you play back. The analysis is vibrato-friendly, looking at your average tendency rather than every natural wobble.
Pitch pipe
A built-in chromatic pitch pipe helps you find your starting note or check your tuning. Hold a note, or switch to sticky mode to build a chord across multiple segments.
Share your work
Export a mixed file combining your recording and the learning track, then send it via Files, AirDrop, email, Box, Google Drive, or Dropbox.
For best results, use headphones — they keep the track out of your microphone for a clean recording and accurate pitch analysis.
