Charades Party Game: Headbands
Guess the Word & Group Games
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
107 themed decks in 72 languages. Hold the phone to your forehead, tilt to score, and let your friends do the hard part. No account, no internet, no setup.
Hold the phone to your forehead. Your friends act it out. You guess. Tilt to score, tilt to pass — and try not to lose it laughing.
Act Up is charades the way people actually play it: no setup, no rules to explain, no scorekeeper. Pick a deck, start the timer, and hand the phone to whoever's turn it is.
107 THEMED DECKS
Films & Series, Celebrities, Songs, Animals, Emojis, Superheroes, Cartoons & Anime, Video Games, Food & Dishes, Accents & Impressions, Act It Out, Countries, Logos & Brands, Jobs, Football, Emotions, Vehicles, Instruments, Idioms, Mythology, Inventions, Awkward Moments and eighty more.
Thousands of prompts in every language, so the same card won't come round twice in a night.
PLAYS IN 72 LANGUAGES
English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Turkish, Russian and sixty more — every deck properly translated, not machine-dumped. Switch language in one tap, mid-party.
TILT TO PLAY
No buttons to hunt for. Tilt the phone one way to score, the other to pass. Your hands stay free and your eyes stay on your friends, which is where the fun actually is.
WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE
No account. No sign-in. No internet. Every deck is built into the app, so it works on a plane, in a car, at a campsite, or anywhere the signal gives up.
RECORD THE ROUND
Capture the chaos on the front and back cameras at once, then watch it back and see exactly how ridiculous everyone looked. Save it to your photo library or send it to the group chat. Recording needs an iPhone that can run both cameras at once (iPhone XS, XR or newer).
MAKE YOUR OWN DECKS
Write your own word lists — inside jokes, your friends' names, the running gag nobody outside the group would understand. Custom decks play exactly like the built-in ones.
BUILT FOR A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE
Two players or twenty. House party, family dinner, classroom, road trip, waiting for the food to arrive. Rounds are short, turns move fast, and nobody has to sit out.
PRIVACY, PLAINLY
No account, no sign-in, no ads that interrupt your game. Your decks and recordings stay on your device; we only see anonymous usage stats to make the game better.
ACT UP PRO
Four decks are free forever, with unlimited rounds. Act Up Pro unlocks every deck with a weekly or yearly plan; any free trial is shown before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period and can be managed in your App Store account settings.
