Meal Planner by CartSorted
Plan the week, shop cheapest
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Plan meals, compare your shopping list and see which store costs less. Track price changes, scan barcodes and keep your recipes in one place.
Where should you do this shop? CartSorted helps you compare your shopping list before you choose a store.
Plan the week's meals, add the other items you need and compare the available prices across your selected supermarkets. See what each store has, what is missing and what you will pay at the checkout.
PLAN YOUR WEEK
Pick recipes for each day and set the number of people. CartSorted combines the ingredients into a shopping list. Keep saved recipes in Account, filter recipes by diet and tags, and follow cooking instructions with quantities adjusted for your household.
CHOOSE WHERE TO SHOP
Use the Shop tab to select a planned week and compare store totals. Choose one store or split the list between stores. Product photos, pack sizes and a list you can tick help you find each item. Mark what you already have to remove it from the shop.
CHECK A PRICE
Scan a barcode or search by name to compare available prices. See unit prices as well as pack prices. Different products are labelled as alternatives, so you can see when a comparison is not an exact match. Ask Siri "Compare a price in CartSorted" or use the action in Shortcuts.
FOLLOW PRICE CHANGES
The Price Alerts tab keeps watched products and price history together. Track a product across pack sizes and manage items you buy regularly. Sign in to save your alerts and keep them with your account.
SAVE AND COOK RECIPES
Save recipes, open shared recipe links and watch supported recipe videos in the app. On a compatible iPhone, Apple Intelligence can draft a recipe from your description. Cook mode keeps the screen awake while you follow the method.
COMPARE WHILE YOU SHOP ONLINE
The included Safari extension shows competitor prices and price history on supported supermarket websites. Sign in to the app to use the same account in the extension.
Choose your country in Account to use local stores and prices. Coverage varies by store and location. Comparisons use the latest confirmed prices available to CartSorted; prices and stock can change, and some items may have no current price.
You can scan and search without an account. Sign in to save meal plans, recipes and price alerts. Some features require CartSorted Plus; the app shows the available options before purchase. You can delete your account from the Account tab.
The camera reads barcodes; CartSorted does not store camera images. Apple Intelligence recipe drafts run on your device. The Safari extension works on the supported sites you enable.
