The next two words are the easiest ones from the level you chose at setup — no tricky sound-alike words in the first lesson. If your child stops partway through, the lesson picks up right where they left off. • After a lesson, Buddy hands you the device first. "Same time tomorrow?" and the Bee Buddy Plus offer come only after that, so they never land in front of your child. • The daily reminder now arrives in your family's language. • If your device isn't set to English, setup says so plainly: Bee Buddy teaches English spelling. And if the app is in Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese or Vietnamese, Buddy cheers your child on in that language. • New tab icons with small animations, a rating request only at grown-up moments, VoiceOver labels on the tab bar in every language, and fixes.

• When a typed word is wrong, letters in the right spot stay gold and the others go pale, so your child can see what to fix. They can keep typing while Buddy talks, and the Check spelling button shows up once every letter is in. • A word missed twice now stays on screen as a pale wax cell instead of disappearing, ready to fill with honey when it's spelled right another day. • Buddy speaks more lines in Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese. A few lines and practice sentences that assumed a boy or a girl now fit every child. • Parent Center is safer: buying Plus, deleting the profile and logging out always ask for the parent check, and Parent Center locks again when you leave the app. Also: reminders tell you plainly when notifications are off, Terms and Privacy open inside the app, better large-text and VoiceOver support, smoother animations, and fixes.

Settings switches are easier to read — the off position is now clear on the newest iPhones and iPads. We also corrected the words about Spell out loud: Buddy listens only while your child spells out loud, and never saves their voice.

After your child finishes their first practice, Buddy hands the device to a grown-up — see the words they kept and start a free week of Bee Buddy Plus, protected by a stronger grown-up check. Turn on a gentle “Same time tomorrow?” reminder right there. Also: clearer switches on the newest iOS, App Store account messages (like billing) now wait for a calm moment instead of interrupting practice, and the app is ready for the new resizable iPhone window sizes. The Plus offer waits until after a finished practice, and it says plainly what it includes: the rest of the word list, and a look at which words are sticking. • The rest is behind the scenes: quiet improvements, and anonymous measurement of where families get stuck.
