Protect channel banner crops

BannerSafe is a focused Mac utility for creators who already have channel art but do not want logos, faces, mascots, names, or taglines clipped by YouTube's device crops.
Import a PNG or JPG banner, mark protected regions, then preview how one 2560 x 1440 upload is cropped for TV, desktop, and mobile/logo-safe views. BannerSafe checks those protected regions, suggests an auto-fit placement, and helps you export a YouTube-ready banner with fewer surprises.
Use it when:
- Your banner looks fine in one view but gets cropped on another
- You need to preserve an existing brand image
- You want to test YouTube's safe areas before uploading
- You want a local, one-time utility instead of a full design suite
- You want to save a project and reopen it later for small brand edits
Built for a simple local workflow:
- Start from your own PNG/JPG or the included guided sample banner
- Add protected regions for logos, text, faces, mascots, or taglines
- Preview the TV full canvas, desktop strip, and mobile/logo-safe crop
- Use the built-in crop guide to understand why each area matters
- Save and reopen BannerSafe projects when you need to revise your artwork
- Export a clean YouTube-ready PNG when the protected content passes safety checks
BannerSafe does not upload to YouTube, require an account, or send your images to a server. Your images and projects stay local on your Mac.
