Bold now works as you'd expect on the Sans, Serif and Mono fonts, and text is no longer stuck looking bold.

Fixes a sync issue where slides still arriving from another device could be removed when closing a post. New carousel slides now match the first slide's shape, and long captions stay in view while you type.

Layouts on Stories now take up the photo already on the slide, so nothing shows through the gaps. Plus small fixes.

Switching between accounts and grids is now simpler. The top of your feed shows where you are in one place, your account and grid together. Tap it to switch. Accounts appear as tiles you tap to switch straight away, and your grids sit below as cards you swipe through and tap to open. Long-press a grid or an account to rename it, duplicate, clear or delete.

This update improves editing, sharing and iCloud sync between iPhone and the desktop dashboard. Text is added to the selected canvas, shared photos show the intended Instagram account, photo saving avoids duplicates within a sharing session, and grid ordering stays consistent across devices. Includes fixes for layouts, panoramas, deletion and the sharing screen.

Swatch now syncs live with iCloud. A change made on another device shows up without reopening the app. Settings has a new iCloud row that says when Swatch last synced and tells you plainly if something needs attention. Pinned posts and saved caption blocks now sync across your devices. A profile's only grid can now be deleted. Swatch Pro now works with the new desktop dashboard (beta) at tryswatch.app/desktop.

Stories can now be shared one slide at a time. On the share screen, choose This slide to save or post just the slide you are looking at, or All slides for the whole set. The share screen also opens on the slide you were editing.

The Grid button now stays in the toolbar for every photo post, so the buttons no longer move around. You can also adjust how a photo shows in your grid when it is already 3:4 or sits inside a border: zoom in and reposition it.

Captions got smarter. On iOS 27, suggestions are written from what is in your photo, and Rewrite now polishes or expands your own words where it used to shorten them. Picking a carousel now opens the editor, so you can keep adding slides. The caption screen no longer gets stuck behind the keyboard. Turning off Posted to bottom puts posted photos back where you planned them.

Try Borders, Layouts and Panorama on your own photos before you unlock Pro. Sharing a post that uses them still needs Pro. Pin up to three posts to the top of your grid. Already posting? Add a screenshot of your profile to bring in your current feed. Save the caption text you reuse, like vendor credits and hashtags, and add it with a tap. Plus a simpler bottom bar, a faster start and fixes.
