Aurora Forecast: Aurora Pass
Northern Lights Tracker
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Aurora Pass helps you decide when a northern lights night is worth the trip.
Track your favorite viewing spots, compare aurora activity with darkness, moonlight, and cloud cover, and get alerts when conditions line up. Save sightings with notes and photos, then build a personal aurora journal you can revisit after the season.
Features:
- Visibility score for saved viewing spots
- Kp and space-weather driven aurora guidance
- Cloud, moon, and darkness checks for practical planning
- Night alerts with quiet-hour controls
- Personal sighting journal with photos and notes
- Aurora Pass year-in-review card and PDF export
- Apple Watch app and complication
Premium unlocks unlimited spots, advanced alert criteria, Hp30 support where available, photographer tools, and journal exports.
Aurora forecasts are guidance, not a guarantee. Visibility depends on local weather, terrain, light pollution, solar activity, and fast-changing sky conditions.
