Designed from the ground up for macOS Tahoe, Quick Bar Calendar uses the new Liquid Glass visual style to feel like a natural part of the system. It appears instantly when you need it and disappears just as fast.
Pure and private
Quick Bar Calendar is a date viewer, nothing more. It never accesses your Calendar, Reminders, or contacts. No network requests, no accounts, no tracking — ever.
Always in reach
Click the calendar icon in your menu bar to open Quick Bar Calendar at any time. Set a global keyboard shortcut to dismiss it without taking your hands off the keyboard.
Thoughtfully designed
- Today's date is always highlighted with an accent-color circle so you're always oriented
- Tap the month and year header to jump to any month in a ±10-year range
- Weekends are visually distinguished from weekdays at a glance
- Days from the previous and next month are shown in context, so the grid always makes sense
- Optionally show ISO week numbers alongside every row
Speaks your language
Quick Bar Calendar is fully localized in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Dutch, Malay, and Ukrainian. The first day of the week, month names, and date formatting all adapt automatically to your system region — no configuration needed.
Lightweight and always current
Quick Bar Calendar automatically refreshes at midnight, so the current day is always correct — even if you leave it open overnight. It also updates instantly if you change your region or language settings.
Keyboard shortcut
Set any modifier + key combination as a global shortcut to dismiss Quick Bar Calendar without reaching for the mouse. Requires Accessibility access, which you grant once in System Settings.
Launch at Login
Enable Launch at Login in Settings and Quick Bar Calendar will be waiting for you the moment you sit down.
Quick Bar Calendar lives only in the menu bar. It never appears in the Dock or the App Switcher, so it stays out of your way until you need it.
