GSD 3.6.1 fixes Saved sync. Items you set aside on one device now reach every other device, including the ones saved before this update. They appear after the first sync on this version. GSD 3.6 added Saved: set a task aside without losing it, keep a short note or a link beside the title, and return it to the matrix when you're ready. It also brought the layered app icon, iPhone Duo support, the large Today's Focus widget, and sharing from Safari. As always, GSD works fully offline. Syncing is optional and only happens when you sign in.

GSD 3.6 adds Saved and is built for iOS 27 and the iPhone Duo. The system chrome takes the new Liquid Glass; your tasks stay on the same warm paper. • Saved. Set a task aside without losing it. Move any open task to Saved from its menu. Find it under Browse on iPhone or in the Library sidebar on iPad, with a short note or a link kept beside the title. Search works there too. When you're ready, Return asks for the quadrant and an optional date before the task rejoins the matrix. Saved tasks stay out of your counts, widgets, and reminders, and they sync with the web app when you're signed in. • A layered app icon. The four quadrant tiles and the check render in every Home Screen style, including Clear and Tinted. • Made for iPhone Duo. Open or close the phone and you stay on the screen you were using. In landscape on the inner display the matrix keeps all four quadrants in view, and each one scrolls on its own. • Today's Focus in three sizes. The widget now comes in large, with room for eight tasks, and marks overdue and due-today tasks by shape so it reads in Tinted and Clear modes too. • Share from Safari. When you're signed in, a shared link reaches your other devices within seconds, even with GSD in the background. • Safer sync. Archiving a task removes it from your other devices too. An edit saved while another device changed the same task keeps both changes. A bad server listing can no longer remove tasks from your device. • Swipe on iPad. Matrix cards use the system swipe actions: swipe right to complete, left to snooze or delete, the same gestures as iPhone. • Room to work. The tab bar tucks away while you scroll and comes back when you scroll up, so the capture field is the only chrome left in full. • Larger text, more room. At accessibility text sizes the editor grows and the quadrant choices stack. As always, GSD works fully offline. Syncing is optional and only happens when you sign in.

The task editor now opens at full size on iPad; on iPhone, a "Show all details" button reveals every section. - Calmer dashboard. The overdue reminder is now a normal card instead of a red alert banner, and the streak tiles are gone for good. - More private by default. Fetching a page title when you share a link is now off unless you turn it on — and only ever touches links you explicitly share. - A round of smaller polish: consistent sign-in buttons, one toggle color throughout Settings, and clearer onboarding copy. As always, GSD works fully offline — syncing is optional and only happens when you're signed in.
