MESSAGES, REBUILT Swipe a message to the right to reply to it. Double-tap to like it. Hold it for everything else. DELETE WHAT YOU WANT Delete any message for yourself, unsend your own, or delete a whole chat — swipe it left in your inbox, or hold it. Deleting a chat clears it for you; the other runner keeps their copy. A CLEANER CHAT Grouped messages, a send button that appears when you type, a button to jump back to the newest message, and a count of what arrived while you were scrolled up. FIXES Closing the Apple or Google sign-in sheet no longer shows an error. A run the server could not accept is retried more patiently instead of on every launch. Your message count refreshes the moment you come back to the app.

YOUR GROUND IS YOURS Close a loop and the territory inside it is claimed for real every run, for everyone. Nothing is held back any more, and any ground that was being held for you has been released onto the map. FIFTY RUNNERS ON EVERY BOARD Leaderboards used to show the top five. Now you can find yourself on them — and the rival just above you. WHAT PRO ADDS Competitions with real prizes, live runs, and raids to take back ground a rival stole. FIXES The map menu no longer pushes its last tile off the card on some iPhones. The message inbox keeps its unread count up to date when the connection drops. Turning location off mid-run is no longer filed as a crash, and your watch no longer reports one at the end of a perfectly good run.

Notifications, finally. Kudos, comments, new followers, club messages and battle results now reach your phone the moment they happen, instead of sitting inside the app waiting to be found. Each one has its own switch in Settings, and there's a button that sends you a real notification so you can check the whole thing works. • Territory fixed. Runs that captured ground but reported 0 m² now show what they actually took. • Kudos and comment counts are correct on every post, and always visible. • The alert when a rival takes your turf now arrives reliably. • Fewer crashes on the map, and a location permission changing mid-session no longer interrupts anything.

Your run, on the Lock Screen. Start a run and it appears on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: time, distance and the ground you're closing in on, without unlocking anything. And if tracking ever stops, the card tells you right there instead of leaving you to find out at the end. • Locked-phone tracking rebuilt. Locked-screen tracking, rebuilt. If you run with your phone in your pocket, this is the update to get. We changed how Terrarun talks to iOS in the background so your route keeps recording at full detail with the screen off no more straight lines cutting across the map where the GPS went quiet. • Background GPS now follows Apple's configuration for continuous tracking, so iOS stops throttling your run • Weak-signal stretches are recorded instead of skipped, so waterfronts, bridges and built-up streets draw the path you actually ran • The app now notices if tracking stalls mid-run and restarts it by itself • A heads-up at the start of a run if Low Power Mode or "While Using" location will limit tracking Thank you to everyone who sent us their runs — this fix came straight out of them.
