Settings has a new TickerNotch for Mac link. Tap it to open the Mac app on the Mac App Store.

A quick setup for new users, and a short Dynamic Island animation when the app opens. • New users get a short setup: pick the tickers for the island, add holdings, choose news sources, and start the island. Every step can be skipped, and you can replay it from Settings. • The app opens with a short animation of the Dynamic Island. Tap anywhere to skip it. • Crude oil and natural gas are no longer in the default watchlist. Search adds them back anytime.

Choose what the compact island shows, and a daily change that resets at your midnight. • The compact pill can now show the price and the daily change, the price only, or the change only. Pick it in Settings under Dynamic Island. • Daily % now means since 00:00 in your time zone, for every ticker, on the island, in the app and in the widgets. It used to be a rolling 24 hours for crypto and the previous session for stocks, so it reset at odd hours. • A market that is closed at your midnight reads about 0% until its session opens.

Dynamic Island reliability update. • The island keeps rotating and refreshing after you relaunch the app. Changes to your pinned tickers, rotation speed or chart style now always reach the live ticker. • When a ticker stops receiving data, the island tells you. An orange "Not updating" marker shows how old the last quote is, instead of the frame only dimming. • While you use the app, the island is renewed before Apple's 8 hour limit, so it doesn't vanish mid-session. • Fixed a price move alert that could fire right after returning to the app. • Settings now warns you if Live Activities or "More Frequent Updates" are switched off for TickerNotch in iOS Settings. Behind the scenes, the service that keeps the lock screen island fresh was rebuilt after an outage. It now recovers on its own and is monitored around the clock.

You can now rate TickerNotch and share it from Settings. TickerNotch Pro can be started straight from the App Store product page. After a few days with the island running, the app may ask for a rating, at most three times a year and never on a day the island stopped.

When your free daily island time runs out, the Dynamic Island now shows a clear upgrade notice for a few minutes instead of just disappearing. Tap it to go Pro. News headlines now show the article photo when your feed provides one. A new welcome screen makes it easy to start your 7-day free trial of TickerNotch Pro. Fixed a bug where the upgrade screen could close itself the first time you opened it.
