Network key for 868 MHz boards: the team leader creates it and shares it with the network profile. Private messages encrypted by the app for the operator they are written to. Private messages in the iCloud history are kept encrypted. One "+" in Chat for a new private message or a new channel. Help pages updated. The encryption needs firmware 2.0.19 on the board.

- ResQMesh is now in Italian too: the app follows the language of your iPhone (Settings → Language). Ready replies go out in the language of the phone. - Help inside the app (Settings → Help): the user guide in pages, with search, readable with no network. - New board firmware 2.0.15 on railab.com: an ALERT confirmed by your own board now shows as confirmed on the iPhone, the Apple Watch and the widgets. The app tells you when your board needs the update. - Apple Watch: an ALERT makes the watch vibrate once, not again at every reconnection. - More reliable reconnection to the board: no more empty board screen when the link comes back. - With Bluetooth switched off or in airplane mode the app now leaves the board and connects again when Bluetooth comes back; Disconnect works with Bluetooth off too. - Board settings: after switching to APRS only, the frequency shown is the one the board really uses. - Chat: the title now scrolls like in the other tabs. - APRS stations on the map: the card now reads what a station sends with its position. Weather stations show temperature, humidity, pressure, wind, gusts and rain; vehicles show direction and speed; every station shows altitude, power and antenna, and range. The rest of the comment stays below, without the coded data. - Board firmware: the notice at connection now appears only when the firmware is too old for the app. When a newer firmware is simply available, a quiet line in Settings says so.

Earlier channels go to the archive and can be brought back. - Channels: swipe to archive or mark as unread; in the archive, swipe to delete or put back. - Ready replies for quick answers. - Apple Watch widgets: unconfirmed ALERTs, board battery, last message. Tap an ALERT to see its direction. - Board settings: screen timeout (Off, 5 s, 10 s, 30 s, On). Needs firmware 2.0.14, linked from the start screen. - Silent boards leave the map after 24 hours, 48 hours or 5 days, your choice. - APRS: objects, items and Mic-E positions, station symbols, and a card with the details of each station. - LoRa APRS stations from the Internet on the map (part of the licence, needs an amateur radio callsign).

ResQMesh is now free to download. The ALERT and APRS are free; team messaging, team positions, Apple Watch, CarPlay and Siri are part of the yearly ResQMesh licence. If you already bought the app, you keep everything: there is nothing to do. New: Apple Watch app. Who is asking for help and in which direction, the messages of the team, replies from the wrist. New: the limits of use, shown before the first use. ResQMesh supports communications where there is no coverage and does not replace emergency services. A 915 MHz version for the Americas and Oceania is in development.

The ALERT sent from the app now carries your phone's battery level, also right after connecting to the board. No firmware update needed.

Board settings - Settings are read from the board once, when the screen opens, and are never overwritten while you type. - Save turns on only when something differs from the board. Each section says whether it applies with Save or at once. - On foot or vehicle is available on every band and is kept when the APRS beacon is off. Radio band of the board - The app shows only the channel of the band the board is built for (433 or 868 MHz) and refuses frequencies of the other band. - A new board asks for its band at the first connection, then opens Board settings. APRS only mode - Chat, ResQMesh positions and ALERT are switched off, with the reason on screen. APRS beacons still go out. Also - More reliable reading of the board settings after a reconnection. - An ALERT started from the Action button waits for the board and goes out as soon as it is connected. - Frequencies always shown with a dot. - Open-source licences in Settings.
