Wendus 2.6 makes the wedding day easier for you and your guests. I've Arrived Turn on self check-in and guests tell you they've arrived from their own invitation. Each arrival is counted once and reaches your helpers' phones live. Wendus never asks for anyone's location. What changed Move a time, change a place or a table, and guests see exactly what changed in their invitation, with one quiet notification. Wedding-day weather In the ten days before the wedding, each event whose venue you picked from Maps shows the forecast there, from Apple Weather. Photos, lighter Guests see previews in Wendus, and you can add the link to a temporary shared album from Photos for full size, which opens on any phone or computer. Only you add photos. Send Link to Guests shares it anywhere, and Delete All Photos clears them after the wedding. See where guests walk Walking routes, walking distances and a traffic map of your room, from the entrance or the check-in desk to the tables, the bar, the buffet and the restrooms. The printed plan marks them too, and prints on its own with a scale, a legend and a grid. A better room editor Undo you can trust, locks that hold, and Select Several to move, align, space out, duplicate or lock tables together. Also new • Find Your Seat tries every entrance and says why when there's no clear way. • A new app icon. • Invitations download less on every refresh, and many smaller fixes.

Wendus 2.5 brings your guests into the plan. Find Your Seat Guests open their invitation and see the way from the entrance to their table, as a plan or in 3D, with their seat numbers. Wedding photos Share photos with every invited household. They're resized, lose their location details and are end-to-end encrypted in your own iCloud. Your venue in 3D Walk around the room and move, turn or add tables right in 3D. Start from a real hall's size, or send us your hall's plan and we'll add it. The wedding day Check guests in at the door with helpers' phones, see who's here live, let in walk-ins, and follow the run sheet and the kitchen's courses. A helper's phone can keep the doors in sync when yours isn't nearby. Also new • Send Feedback and Request Your Hall in Settings. • The free sample opens the room and the 3D view to look around. • Sharper scanning of passes held close on Pro iPhones, and many smaller fixes.

Wendus 2.0 is a calmer, cleaner app. A new design. Every screen has been redrawn to feel at home on iPhone and iPad: clearer lists, simpler words and less clutter. Digital invitations. Add each household's own invitation link to the WhatsApp or text message you send. Guests on iPhone open it in Wendus, free for them, to see the dates, directions, their guest pass and table, and reply in a tap. Replies update your guest list by themselves. Invitations stay in your own iCloud, end-to-end encrypted, and anyone can still reply in the chat. Replies made easy. Paste a guest's reply and Wendus reads the answer, head count, meals and dietary notes for you to confirm. Set a reply deadline and your own meal choices, get gentle reminders, and ask everyone who hasn't replied in one go. Seating and the day. Numbered seat orders at every table, escort and place cards, a caterer summary with meals by table, and live arrivals that keep every door in sync. You can now withdraw a helper's access at any time. Plus a short setup guide after you unlock Premium, a review step and Undo for guest list imports, address search for every event, international phone numbers for WhatsApp, and many fixes.

Plan the room from your guest list. Tap Plan tables and seat guests and Wendus works out how many tables you need, creates them, places them on the floor and seats every household in one step, with a head table for VIP households, one seat kept free per table if you like, and a check that everything fits your measured room. A new full-screen room editor. Tables with their chairs, stages, dance floors, entrances, kitchens, walls, pillars, exits and speakers are drawn as proper plan symbols, the same in the editor, on your helpers' maps and in the printed packet. Import a venue's PDF floor plan and Wendus recognises the room outline, printed dimensions, labelled areas and drawn tables. Pinch to zoom, drag to move, twist to rotate, with rulers and a scale bar in feet or metres. Smarter seating. Seats by the dance floor count as the good seats, speakers keep guests who need quiet away from the noise, a kitchen next door is measured from its service door, and readiness warns when a table carries more seats than its size allows. Import guests from anything: Excel workbooks, CSV files in any delimiter or encoding, rows pasted from a spreadsheet, or people picked from Contacts, with everyday column names such as Name, Family and E-mail recognised automatically. Plus many fixes and polish throughout the venue workflow.

Ask guests for their RSVP straight from Wendus. Each guest now has Ask via SMS, Ask via WhatsApp, and Ask via Email actions that open Messages, WhatsApp, or Mail with a prefilled request for their attendance and head count. You send it from that app and replies arrive there, while Wendus records the request in the communications ledger and marks the invitation as sent. Nothing is sent by Wendus itself, and no messaging service is involved.

Room plan, rebuilt around real measurements • Every floor now has a real size , so tables, chairs, and areas are drawn to scale. • Measure an imported floor plan by tapping two ends of a known wall and typing its length. • Tables you add in Seating appear on the floor immediately. Drag one into an area to bind it; the seating engine then respects that area: quiet zones for guests who need them, family areas for households with children, VIP seating near the stage, and restricted areas kept clear.

A completely redesigned Free and Premium experience. Free now opens a clearly labeled, read-only sample built from realistic planning inputs and real Wendus engine outputs. A $19 one-time Premium purchase unlocks every editable feature for life, with no subscription or trial. This update also refreshes the visual design, keeps upgrade controls in Settings, supports event windows up to 8 weeks, improves guest imports and RSVP follow-up, and strengthens backup, archive, QR-scanning, and privacy-closeout workflows.

A friendlier welcome and safer imports. A new onboarding tour walks through what's included in Free Core and One Wedding Pass. Guest list import now updates only the columns you map — RSVPs, contacts, and check-ins are never cleared by a partial spreadsheet. The RSVP overview is color-coded and filters the reminder queue. Backup and archive restores are safer, privacy closeout now also removes seating drafts and staff packets, and device-migration reliability is improved.

This major reliability and workflow update adds encrypted portable event backups, CSV column mapping with a live import preview, named seating-plan drafts with compare and restore, drag-and-drop seating, and safer household arrival-wave check-in. You can now delete guests, tables, rules, relationships, and schedule events; revoke or reissue QR passes; restore encrypted archives; and move a complete event to another Wendus device with a passphrase-protected backup. The update also improves device migration, persistence recovery, spreadsheet safety, and seating quality.

Adds calibrated venue map sketching from venue-provided PDFs/images, measured table and sketch-item footprints, venue-aware seating rules, smoother Free Core upgrade handling, and optional WhatsApp, Instagram, and SMS fields for manual guest entry and CSV workflows.
