The Gerber YuniquePLM Direct Access utility is a locally installed application that enables users to edit images stored in YuniquePLM using external image editing software. Once launched and configured, the application associates file types (such as .jpg, .png, and .ai) with selected editing tools on the user’s workstation. When a user clicks the Edit icon in YuniquePLM, the image is automatically downloaded and opened in the configured application. After editing, saving and closing the file triggers the Direct Access utility to upload the updated image back to YuniquePLM.
