Lumin Notes
Private, offline AI notetaker

Mac
Record, transcribe, and summarize meetings on your Mac — plus a daily briefing of your day. No cloud, no account, no subscription. Nothing leaves your device.
Lumin Notes is a private, on-device meeting notetaker for Mac. It records, transcribes, and summarizes your meetings — and briefs you on your day — without any of it ever leaving your machine.
Most note-taking apps send your conversations to the cloud. Lumin Notes can’t: it’s distributed with no network entitlement, so the macOS App Sandbox blocks outbound connections at the system level. Your recordings, transcripts, and summaries are processed entirely on your Mac, using Apple Silicon’s Neural Engine and GPU. No cloud. No account. No sign-in. No tracking.
YOUR DAY, AT A GLANCE
Open your Mac and Lumin greets you with a short, on-device briefing of your day — what you’ve already had, what’s still ahead, and anything notable on your calendar. When the day is clear, it looks ahead to tomorrow.
WHAT IT DOES
• Records your microphone and the meeting’s audio (Zoom, Teams, Webex, and more)
• Transcribes on-device — fast and accurate
• Writes a clean summary after every meeting: TL;DR, key points, decisions, and action items
• Labels who said what, with optional speaker identification
• Shows your upcoming meetings, with one tap to Join & Record
• Detects when a meeting starts and offers to record it — or records automatically, if you like
• Lets you search across all your notes — or ask a question and get an answer drawn from your meetings, generated locally
• Learns the company names and acronyms you use so it spells them right
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Nothing is uploaded — there is no server to send to
• Works fully offline, anywhere — even on a plane
• App Sandbox on, no network entitlement — verify it yourself in Settings → Privacy
• No analytics, no telemetry, no third-party SDKs
ONE-TIME PURCHASE
Buy it once and use it for life. No subscription. No ads. No upsells.

A NOTE ON CONSENT
